Oh wow I wanna go lol sounds like so much fun and we love things like that. Wish they had something like that here but to my knowledge there is nothing even remotely close. They don't seem to really have many festival type things here which is weird cuz Louisiana is big into our festivals lol anything for a party! They don't even have craft shows which I really miss. Where we lived near New Orleans every year they'd have an Antique and craft fair. A friend of mine his mom goes to it every year lol they are from Colorado. So miss it lol I'd wait until after the fair to buy anything cuz after it was over they would mark things wayyyy down that didn't sell. Their sale items during the fair were a joke. They would actually increase the price they were asking while saying it was marked down. Since I haunted these stores living a couple blocks away I knew what they had been asking. The real markdown would come after the fair. I got a lamp and vase that way. Got the both for $75 which was half off what they had been asking. The research I did on it puts it as having been made sometime between 1850 and 1890 when the maker was in business.

What is a Christmas Village Festival? Sounds fun. DH is always finding the neatest stores with xmas ornaments to take me too. LOL I'm like a kid when it comes to decorating. Have had to start over with collecting unique ornaments since katrina. Which is fun. Glad you had an easy week this week. Have a great weekend

Thanks, it will take a few days but hopefully by next week I'll be over this incredible tiredness. Slept in today until noon almost but wasn't able to sleep last nite much, sure felt good getting a few hours uninterrupted. I love having the kids here and love going places but find every year it takes more of a toll on me so am learning no matter how much I want to have fun I have to pace myself. Lupus can really do some damage but thankfully they have a lot of meds now to help not cure but least I am able to take things that help with the pain. I take quinine (weird huh lol) but it really helps with inflammation b4 the dr started me on that I was pretty depressed over it all but I do what I can to take care of myself and pray that one day they will find a cure. Take care

i did a mini shopping trip. zellers had those ricola cough drops on for 1.49 from 2.49. yup.. you got it.. I had $1 off coupons :D .50 gotta luv it. will need them soon the way i feel. sharing them with my mom. i got 9 bags.

that was my big deal today. unless you want to count 5lb bags of carrots for .99. or the bag of misc cakes for $4 at the thrift store.

well, i did get 2 fushion gift sets yesterday, free except for part of the tax...but i had to fight to get them, the supervisor wanted to ring them in the value of the coupon, which means i would pay more and more tax. i said, nononono ya don't.

hubby was like, shuddup, the coupon isn't for the set. i said but bonus, just means the shave cream is free...turns out he was right. it was the razor that was free.

my bad.

Thanks and yes today was a good day lol if you could call sleeping almost the entire day away good. I slept until 10:30 this morning which is unheard of for me and I'd really wanted to be up early to spend every second with the kids I could but I did need to sleep. Then after they left I went and laid back down slept for another 4 hours lol lazy lazy day. DH cooked a really good dinner and we've had a quiet night together. Miss my DD already but she said she'd come back and next time spend 2 weeks yahoo!!! Hope you've had a good day and tomorrow will bring sunshine and smiles your way!
