All those old shows look, well old lol. How come all the shows like maude, archie bunker,etc. It seems all the walls and doors etc look dirty or is it just me.
and thanks, yeah my uncle was 75 but I had not seen him in like 15 years because I had been living in Vancouver and then Timmins.

Oh NO!! We are expecting a scorcher of a weekend here. My plants ( veg and flowers ) have been taking quite a beating all week, as I would almost forget about watering them.

I still like to watch seinfeld,friends,etc when I can.

oh that is dreadful! Edmonton eh? In Ontario I can honestly say I have not seen many this year...yet. Mosquitoes always bite me, but not my " hairy, like a gorilla " DH! Camping was always such a joy for me covered in bites. lol

Thanks for your well wishes! I had been traveling for two weeks and just got home on Monday. There are so many ways it could have been much worse, though. And it's good to have insurance. All I really need is a lot of patience. You can send me some of that!

Hiya! Yes, the Canucks are a disaster right now, but so is my apartment. Halfway through the game last night a pipe burst in the apartment immediately above us and Niagara Falls starting coming through our place. The water was actually gushing out of the light switches.

We are in a hotel now for perhaps a week and it might be another month or more before new walls, cupboards, appliances and carpet are put in. Meanwhile, my computer and coupon collection are safe and sound in my little office/den, which was the only unaffected area of my apartment.

I'm looking forward to a month from now when the postal strike situation might be over, the Canucks will be savouring their first cup and my home will be back to normal. One can dream, right?

Yeah, Boston roared back didn't they? I actually guessed Vancouver in 5 but now they got me wondering. Still, I can't help feeling the Bruins are going to tucker out quicker. That means more penalties. That means special teams, and I think Canucks are better. I just rooting for certain players really and enjoying the games
