I was at a Red Wings game many years ago during the playoffs. A guy down the aisle from me had an octopus hidden in a plastic bag inside his (somewhat baggy) sweat pants. When the Wings scored the winning goal in overtime, the octopus was thrown onto the ice.

went with the metallic blue and jet black interior, upgraded by them to the next model with turbo and we added a sunroof and bluetooth plus XM package-they didn't charge us a penny for the extras because of the end of the model year and availability logistics! We had been prepared to pay $4,000 extra. Needless to say we're thrilled. When are your away dates, you lucky bugger?

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to margaritas. Lime juice, tequila and Triple Sec. Shaken over ice and then strained into a salt rimmed glass. Yum!

I knew you were joking and it made me chuckle. And as you said, you can't get a "yes" if you don't ask in the first place! I must admit that I have been surprised that there have been a few winners who shared their trips with forum members. At least you got together prior to travelling. I remember one a couple of years ago when a member won a trip to see Led Zeppelin in London. He took a fellow member along but their first meeting was at the airport. It turned ugly in the end and there were accusations that the invitee had taken advantage of the winner's generosity. All the guy would have needed to do is buy his host a few beers and none of it would have been an issue. I know you're smarter than that and I'm sure you will have a great time together!

I can relate to your friend's predicament. Pulling on a sweater was impossible back in January but I'm able to do it now if I'm careful and take my time. Thank goodness my arms are long, because there are switches in the cockpit that I can't reach with the bad side right now. I can't take Aleve or most other pain killers, they are too hard on my stomach. I was on a prescription anti-inflammatory for a while but I don't need it any more.

I don't mind a Corona once in a while but I'll take a margarita any time when it's hot and sunny! Have a wonderful time down there!

Yes I have physio twice a week and exercise it 4 times a day. It's getting better, no longer in constant pain but the movement is still very limited. You know it was bad when you're just happy to be able to scratch your ear on that side again!

I have a shoulder tendon that is pinching in the joint. It caused the shoulder to freeze up so I have limited motion, enough that anything more than chipping or putting is out of the question.

My wife doesn't know but it's definitely something she wanted. We have a couple of par 3 courses nearby so I'll probably take her out to one of those a few times. I'll just work on my short game while she gets used to swinging again. We hope to be able to go south for some golf next winter so I am very motivated to get better!

Golf is a great game and a nice way to get out for a walk. Don't let the little white ball spoil a day in the sun! I try hard not to take it too seriously, which usually makes my game better that when I try hard.
