i'm trying here and there, but stuff going on here as well

No second date here Mmmme.. it wasn't all that pleasant..LOL
Keep in mind I don't smoke anything..and the other (not cigarettes, makes me toss my cookies).. So he arrives..he just finished a smoke..I figured as he new I didn't smoke, he had one before picking me up.. but no..not the case..We got into his van.. he lit up a smoke. then horked his gum out the window. The drive from St. Catharines to Niagara Falls is about 20 min.. he squeezed in two smokes..The meal was great. On the way home he had two more smokes and burned a fat one.. then he trashed my old dog (dumb *ss) and lunged at me wanting a kiss.. yuk.... ffffnnnn no wonder I don't date..LOL

You are so cute! I am located one block north of Eaton Center... so, not as downtown as him!

I'm glad they are both good!!! Yes, mine are around 8 years old and I worry about them getting 'old', they should be worrying more about me!!! lol!!! Hope your daughter is doing better Mmmme!

thanx for the rep. mark's work warehouse & ctc had great sales on & i got everything between the 2 stores. now, all i have to do is wrap them. hope you had a great psunday.

My problem is I have too many things to do (mostly just enjoying life) & painting is not at the top of the priority list. It will happen, just not sure when.

I'd have to do one wall at a time, since there really isn't enough room for all the furniture in the centre of the room. I have a piano, a desk, 2 wall units, sofa, coffee table, storage bench, small table & 2 chairs - all in my living room! Some call it cramped, I call it cozy.

Right now I can't even think about painting. Maybe in the spring when I have a few less things going on in my life. I'll definitely let you know when I get my act together.

Interesting idea. There's actually very little wall showing - I have lots of furniture & many pictures & mirrors on my walls. Except my south wall, which is all windows.

What scares me is the prospect of figuring out where to put the furniture while painting. Critters, of course, would vacation at their summer home, being fed non-stop treats.

Funny you should mention blue. 2 yrs after I moved in, I went on my first vacation after the transplant & while I was gone, my parents painted the handles of all my cupboards a nice royal blue. It looks very smart against the white. & I have the cutest blue microwave (a cube shape) in my kitchen to add to the blue theme.

My room at my parents' (still the same since I was a teen) is a grey-blue with a bright red line across one wall over my bed. My Mom thought the walls weren't snazzy enough, so she added the red streak.

I`m still living with the builder`s white paint on all my walls cause I can`t make a decision. lol At first I had planned to paint the walls `ìcicle` (really pretty white with a hint of blue), but kept putting it off. Now (9 yrs later!), I`m at the point where I really love having white walls - it brightens the room, especially when the sun is pouring in.

Good luck - are you doing the work yourself or do you get to supervise?

Sounds like you`ve got your hands full with the renos. Make sure you post a pic of the job when it`s completed. Are you leaning towards any particular colour scheme? My friend`s spare room/office is the loveliest shade - it appears cream, until the sun pours in & then it`s a warm yellow.

Actually no I haven't done ALL my shopping, but I have done some!!! I always try to do it before the big crowds, it gets so crazy and such a waste of time standing in line! What about you? How is your daughter and what does she want this year?

You either have fat cats or no window sill . I like to feed everything. In the summer, when you put your sprinkler out, keep an eye on those mourning doves; they will line up and raise their wings (like syncronized swimming) with the sprinkler to have a bath. It's very funny. I'm sure you daughter would love to see that.
