the up & downstairs hallways are done in a taupey-beige colour with white baseboard & door trim. the rodent's study room is done in blue-grey with white baseboards & trim & my room i did in way out colours cause that's me. 3 walls are in a bright blue & 1 wall is in lime green. the trim is oak stained wood. most people wouldn't go near those colours, but they're my favourite & i find them soothing, like the ocean. aren't paint prices just rediculous. still have the kitchen to do. that's been the same since we moved here 13 yrs ago. wallpaper. the whole house was wallpapered from top to bottom. it was a heck of a job stripping it off. not looking forward to doing the kitchen. hope you had a great weekend beside the painting. back to the grind tomorrow.

The water heater is a rental & it was installed in 1994. It sprayed all over the darn place. I guess it could have been much worse. The old tank has been replaced and all that is left to do is a bit of clean up.

You are so welcome. I understand completely. My Mom died almost 4 years ago. She was my best friend. The day of her death is so difficult and Mother's Day almost cuts me down. I miss her so.

Nope, no parade for me (not really a fan of crowds). I've only been to one parade, the Santa parade in Pickering, many yrs ago. I was part of the crew shooting the parade for the local cable station, & was lucky enough to get to spend a very cold day in the truck working the sound board.
