Thanks for the message Noodge. At this point the benefits of the surgery outweigh the cons. Poor baby sleeps with her mouth completely open, its heartbreaking and frightening when she gasps for air ! I am very nervous about it and am trying to keep calm. The surgery is not until April so I have a ways to go ... Have a great week!

No reason to worry about me. The transplant clinic (& the amazing specialists they've introduced me to) keep a very close eye on me.

Any plans to come to Toronto for a visit? My neighbourhood is a tourist destination.

My problem is that I have no immune system (cause of the transplant), so a little cold gives me a good hard thwack upside the head. Maybe I need another thwack on my noggin to send it packing?

Nope, no sleep here. lol, between the new baby and our 3 yr old... Im pretty much doomed to insomnia! (although it keeps the house clean, and gifts are getting wrapped nicely for christmas! haha)
