Jason has requested sausages on a bun tonight, so I guess that's what we're having. I get to choose whether it's smoked sausage or not, and it all depends what appeals to me at the grocery store.

Tonight we had Spicy mock chick'n Boca Burgers on whole wheat buns with fresh local tomatoes. On the side were cut up celery and local "out of the garden this morning" carrots. I also made a potato salad with local potatoes and a lemon/dill dressing with green onions and a few mock bacon bits on top. It was yummy if I do say so myself

Corn again, can't get enough of that Quebec corn and veggie wraps with field tomatoes, romaine and feta. Yum! I don't know how the tomatoes can be ready already because all of my Italien friends are cursing this weather, none of them have tomatoes yet in their gardens.

Yummers! Those meals all sound great! I roasted chicken breasts with a melange of potatoes and veggies - made six big breasts to have lots leftover for son for sammies for lunches.
This was the first time in 20 years I served my husband only white meat - he's a dark meat kinda guy. He looked twice through the kitchen, saw that was all there was, and then took one with his meal. After when I mentioned it, he said of course it was good, but I could have mixed some dark pieces in there. Oh, but this was fresh chicken breasts so they are good this way, I said - ah, he said, but still....
I finished it by telling him that there have been zillions of times I've made only dark meat - like all the times legs/backs are on sale - and I've muddled through though it's not my fave. Hmm, was his response.... lol!
He's not a picky guy, he eats everything I make pretty much - even veggies! And even the disasters through the years....

We buy boneless skinless chicken breast on sale, cook several at a time in the oven in a covered dish, then freeze them in individual zip loc bags for future easy meals.
