What's For Dinner?

This was last night's dinner. I was by myself so I splurged and bought some flour....anyone see what the price of flour is these days (it is ridiculous!) The sauce is a combo of vegan butter(earth balance) and Frank's Red Hot sauce topped with artichoke hearts, pineapples, black olives, ground seitan and vegan Blue Sheese. It felt good to eat as much of it as I wanted to and no one was there to say no! yummy in my tummy!

DH is using the BBQ to make Chicken on a spit. MIL will be joining us so I'll have to think of what can accompany such a feed but probably roasted potatoes, veggies and something sweet. Maybe give her a NESTLE drumstick *LOL*

Plans have changed now... MIL doesn't feel like coming over, so DH is making cider can chicken on the barbie with veggies and potatoes and I just took a red velvet scratch cake out of the oven which I will frost with Betty Crocker's cream cheese icing once cool.

MIL will get a doggie bag at some point

We kids never had the indulgence of pancakes and cookies for dinner (yum).

Tonight's dinner is alfredo pasta with a mix of veggies (broccoli, zucchini, peas), with vegetable juice to wash it down. I think I'm going a little vegetable crazy.

I wassss going to make pork schnitzel and potatoes stuffed with bacon and sage but i feel like death so everyone can fend for themselves.
