Freezing rain changing to rain late this evening and ending overnight then cloudy with 40 percent chance of rain showers or flurries. Wind southeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming west 30 after midnight. Temperature rising to plus 3 this evening then steady. Wind chill minus 8 in the evening.

Cold, but warming up here in SW Ontario. The sun is just starting to come up, and the sky is getting grey. Coffee is ready for when DH wakes up from a well-served sleep. Muffins from yesterday for breakfast. Both dogs have been in and out, in and out so they are fine. The house has yet to come alive.

Could have been a three-shower day but was only two
as I went to see "The Green Book" at the matinee
show to get out of the heat for a bit.

Good movie, I like 'wise guy' movies.

Quite the opposite here. hair refuses to dry after showering.
We were headed to the west coast (of Florida) on the bikes
but it was just too hot, had to settle for a quick lap of Lake O instead.

wind warning in effect now:

The City of Toronto is under a wind warning ahead of the potential for damaging winds of up to 110 km/h on Sunday.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement on Friday in anticipation of the weather event beginning Sunday afternoon and through to the evening hours.
On Saturday, the weather agency upgraded the statement to a warning.

The wind gusts will persist as a sharp cold front moves into parts of Southern Ontario. The weather system is expected to weaken on Monday.

It is comparatively warm here, but there is a constant light sprinkling of rain and a whipping of wind. Our farm is about 1 1/2 hours away from Toronto and I do not think we will get the heavy, heavy winds predicted to hit there. But it will be nice to have a cozy fire and a chair in front of it. UPDATE: wow. I just went away for about 1/2 hour and the wind really picked up!
