atm, I am actually hopeful that this blinding sunshine is gonna melt away the remaining 1/3 of the driveway snow that I ran out of " oomph " to shovel .

WINTER STORM WARNING
Issued at 16:14 Wednesday 13 February 2019
Hazardous winter conditions are expected.
Total snowfall amounts between near 25 cm and northeasterly winds gusting near 80 km/h are expected on Thursday.
Snow and strong winds will develop overnight tonight combine to give an extended period of blowing snow, reducing to visibility to near zero at times throughout the day on Thursday. Conditions are expected to remain poor Thursday evening. However, conditions should improve by Friday morning as winds diminish and the snow tapers off.

Beautiful fluffy snow is falling, swirling around in the air, it's quite picturesque.
Windchill -27 temp -18
Windchill will go lower but temp will go up a few degrees.

Freezing rain threatening Wednesday night.
Freezing rain is expected to affect Southern Ontario Wednesday night as another large low pressure system brewing over the Southern Plains moves towards the Great Lakes.
Snow will arrive Wednesday afternoon, then quickly change over to freezing rain Wednesday evening. Freezing rain or freezing drizzle will then change to occasional rain or drizzle by Thursday morning as temperatures edge above the zero degree mark.
Untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery. Travel may be affected.

EXTREME COLD WARNING
Issued at 05:02 Tuesday 19 February 2019
A prolonged period of very cold wind chills is expected.
A frigid airmass combined with moderate to strong northwesterly winds will create an extended period of wind chills between minus 40 and minus 30 beginning overnight tonight. Extremely cold wind chills will persist throughout the day on Wednesday and continue into Thursday morning.
Conditions will improve late in day on Thursday as winds gradually diminish and temperatures slowly rise.
