Yay! I'm thankful that our tiling and black and white grouting are DONE!!
I love my kitchen!!!

I'm even more thankful that we hosted our DD and her DH to a "grown-up" dinner
yesterday....what a precious, special time with them. She said we should do that more
often and that next time it's their turn...sniff.....

Quite thankful that our new Apt building is just amazing and that the people I've met so far are just as amazing. Not to mention they have a great inground pool to which I was able to enjoy today. The little pleasures in life.

I am thankful for the giggling I currently hear in my living room. The kids are getting along very well today and it's such a pleasure to listen to them!

I am also thankful that it's Labour Day and nothing is open for business. As much of a shopaholic and smart canucker I am, it's sometimes really nice to know the stores are closed and I can spend time doing what matters- hanging out at home with the family on the last day of the summer holidays.

I'm in the minority. I'm not particularly thankful at all that the kids are back to school. I miss them already.

I am, however, thankful that I've got a bunch of dumb old work crap to do that will keep me busy until they come home this afternoon.

ninna, I always felt that way, too - sad to see school coming, after spending all of the summer with my son.

I am thankful my husband and I can still keep our sanity and our love strong, in our current time of dire financial hardship. Yes, Love is free and you can kinda live on it, lol!
