Yesterday I dropped everything to go snowmobiling in the back country. It was awesome. The rain/freezing rain will prob ruin a lot of the trails today so that might have been my last chance before I go back to ONT. Glad I did it!

I am a substitute teacher. I am grateful that I received extra calls to teach 1.5 days this week, in addition to the 1.5 days that I was booked in advance. I earned enough this week to pay for my childcare and cell phone bills for the month. The rest of my income can now go towards my other monthly bills. Good teaching start to the month.

I'm thankful for Breyers Light Vanilla ice cream (so creamy!) and the fact that DQ sells cake centers all by their lonesome. Heaven! I could probably forgive someone for stealing one of my kidneys if they gave me a life supply of these two things in exchange.

Yay for technology - especially the wonderful chat/pm feature on Facebook - I absolutely love this method of communicating with my son, just to keep up on the little things... big smile from me as he thanked me for raising him well and teaching him to cook, and he posted pics of what he cooked last night - aw!

I am thankful for the mild weather we've been having. It is so welcome, and I am thankful for being able to feel the warmth of the sun on my face instead of wind chill that makes me cold to my bones. It is incredible, to think our temps lately have been above freezing, and just a week or 2 ago it was in the -29 degree range!!!

^ I agree about being thankful for the warmer temps - it's above zero here today, whereas a week ago we had -50 windchill.
