Canada Post backlog

Not good news with Christmas right around the corner -- Canada Post is dealing with two to three times more parcels than normal this holiday season following five weeks of rotating strikes. The crown corporation says it has brought in extra vehicles and staff to deal with the backlog but spokesman Jon Hamilton says protests and the prospect of nasty winter weather means delivery windows can't be guaranteed. Then they shouldn't have gone on strike.

Elon Musk says he may be interested in buying some closing GM plants

Elon Musk says there’s a possibility Tesla would be interested in buying some of the plants that General Motors recently announced it plans to close. Musk made the comments in an interview with CBS’s 60 Minutes that aired on Sunday. On Nov. 26, General Motors announced plans to shut down five plants in North America next year, including one in Oshawa, ON as part of a wider restructuring effort.

Raptors lose again to Bucks

The Toronto Raptors dropped a 104-99 decision to Milwaukee on Sunday, their second loss this season to the Bucks. You knew it would happen sooner or later. Still a great record so far.

Looking through my kitchen window this morning..I noticed something on beach ..wasnt sure from a distant ..i got very curious ..I got ready and down to beach i went to investigate..sure didn’t expect see so many mackerel around beach ..this is not a normal thing ...see mackerel coming in on beach like this ..apparently fishermen is saying ...there’s lots and lots of mackerel this year and now their washing in on beaches .

Child killer Michael Rafferty transferred to medium security

The father of murdered Woodstock girl, Tori Stafford is calling for an immediate overhaul of the Correctional Service of Canada. This, after learning one of his daughter's killers has been moved to a medium-security facility. Michael Rafferty was transferred back in March but Stafford didn't find out until just recently. The revelation comes just weeks after Rafferty’s accomplice -- Terri-Lynne McClintic -- was moved back to prison from an indigenous healing lodge after public outcry.
