This weather is keeping me from vintage shopping for a nice warm winter coat...

I bought way too much wrapping paper at Target. One roll has already wrapped 8 large presents and I still have half of it left. And I know I won't want to use what's left over next year because I'll be sick of it.

I get the purpose of Christmas wish lists but a Christmas wishlist with only ONE item on it? And that ONE item costs $100?

The part that burns the most: I had been saving my SDM points to get this item for myself. So now instead of getting it as my reward for hard point-earning, I will cash my points to give it to this person who has the cojones to ask for this item… when they will give me $10 bath salts in return, as usual.

The things I do to keep the peace with extended family… * rolls eyes*

Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.

Always use Ebates and get cash back at over 600 online stores! Use this link to get $5, FREE

So do the same thing - make that one item the only item on your Christmas wishlist as well (or something else equal)

I know that's not really in the 'spirit of the holidays' but that would piss me off to no end as well.

Yeah I could do that if they had bothered to ask me for one. I hate the whole idea of Christmas lists in the first place.

I would just buy this person a gift card and say money's tight and use your points for the item you were saving them for.

I like your style . They always give me that excuse anyway. I mean, they can't expect us to be made of money. Problem is that DH is way too generous with people. If I don't buy it, he'll buy it at FULL PRICE, so I have to beat him to it.

just buy the other item and tell hubby "you've taken care of the persons gift" and hubby won't find out till christmas day.. to me i'd find it insulting that they dare give a wishlist with only high end expensive items.. to me that is NOT ok

if commercials weren't bad enough between shows.. now we have to put up with pop ups during shows on TV grrr taking up a third of the screen big bright and white.. during a darker show (it makes me want a Kobo even less!)

i know many females who call themselves WoW widows because once their husband is playing.. he's gone and nothing you can do to get him away from it (and it's not a game you can play for an hour it's 6+ hours a night!) it actually broke up a friend's marriage.. she couldn't compete with the game and the game won
