YOU, my Dear...are certifiably froot-loops!!
But I guess coming from a fabric wh..ahem...stasher is a nicer word...that probably means very little..
Not mine...just wish it was!!! My fabric stash consists of YARDS of the stuff!!
What's one little 8lb belt compared to that, right?!!

Busy here, too!
Off to the island to open up our trailer...ahhhh..that fresh, outdoorsy air!! Seeing everyone again, although not many might be there today, it's quite early in the season, yet....It'll be so much fun seeing Jenny's reaction to being there once again; I wonder when, during the trip, she'll remember where we're going. She usually gets so excited, whining, jumping around on my lap when we get close to the turn-off!!
Have a wonderful Monday, everyone!!!

Is everyone having a good Monday afternoon? The sun has come back out here & seems to be giving cloudier skies the old heave-ho.
Tomorrow I am back at the hospital for the usual. I hope all goes according to plan. I am still sick with my cold or whatever this thing is. Still coughing & very congested, but no fever. I'm not in the best of shape to fight these viral things.
It was nice for me to get away for a weekend.
Take care, Loocie
xx

Oh, the horror!!! Nightmares, not memories!!
Those gym suits we had to change into!!! Oh, the tragedy, the sadness, the washing and ironing those bloomers!! And this was the 60s!!! Looks more like the 20s, doesn't it?
Now stop it, @SillyLoocie! Let's think of finer things...Lady Manhattan blouses and kilts!!
Oh, whew!!! I'm feeling better now....these were much more fun to wear!!

Those type of gym uniforms were before my time, we just had blue shorts and white tops.
Never had a kilt, but our school uniform included a tartan skirt with two kick pleats - very itchy wool fabric - and goodness knows why since it was a convent run by French nuns, but the pattern was Nova Scotia tartan. Had to wear a buttoned white shirt (not blouse) with it, and navy cardigan (no sweaters). Later we could wear navy pants, or a navy blue skirt.
Well, today was my Mother's Day, since Milan couldn't come over yesterday.
He gave me an extraordinarily beautiful bouquet of flowers - so many of my faves and bright colours, and they smell heavenly!
We had Chinese food for supper.
