Just got home after being out all day. Went to m&m foods because they way over charged me by almost $82 fri night. I should have noticed myself but they fixed it today and refunded me the money. Went to walmart for sheets, mattress pad, pillows etc. Then I took all that to my boss's for our staff party lol. Just need to get my comforter now.

Good morning, everyone!
We had our GS sleep overnight since our DD had her staff party, and we just finished...actually HE just finished making his pumpkin muffins which he loves so much and now he's got his headphones on with his ipad and is watching Gnomeo and Juliet...happy I don't have to, I have a severe aversion to garden gnomes.
@22hicks. you have a lovely tree...pace yourself: decorate, glass of wine, decorate, glass of wine: repeat. It's been SO long since I've had a glass of wine I'm sure one would put me into a coma 'bout now.
Our GS did a little 'number' on one of his long-sleeve t-shirts: he cut a hole near each cuff so that his thumb can go through it. It's THE fashion statement, doncha know... I hand bound the edges so that they wouldn't continue to unravel...I don't know where he gets his fashion sense.... I'll let him know that any wardrobe modifications from now on should be brought to his Baba instead!
Have a relaxing NFL Sunday, everyone!!

Good morning all. @cabmonk I also snickered over you miseroblowe joke!! Thank goodness you noticed the overcharge at M & M's and they corrected it.
@22hicks , today I heard the Astros signed Beltran, which makes me think they will not get Edgar now. Fingers crossed he stays with us!
@Lynn49 steering hicks into a drunken decorating stupor are we? It may be because atm you are singing " how dry I am " so I'll let that slide. Here is an appropriate decoration hicks could hang on the tree?
Finally went into a SDM to try and spend the 38,000 points it took me 2 years to accumulate....ha ha
Actually felt quite pleased getting some affordable gift sets and some small stocking chocolates for the family. Still hate paying taxes though, I wanted all of this $60.00 purchase using my points to be free! Oh well, I have no more points now ( thank goodness! )Last edited by walkonby; Sun, Dec 4th, 2016 at 01:22 PM. Reason: added cutie pie decoration....ha ha

@walkonby Yeah it's just a silly little joke lol. I noticed the overharge right as I got home fri night. But I went through every item to make sure what I did have before I called the store 15 mins before closing. It was the same guy that helped me and I explained what happened. He appologized and said he was working sat at 10am and he would take care of it. He even gave me the tuna casserole sales price that ended thursday which was $7.99 instead of the reg $9.99. What happened instead of charging $2.49 per garlic bread it rang in instead as prime rib burgers at $23 each for 3 of them and instead of tuna casserole it rang in as some beef item at $11.99 each for 5 lol.

JUST KIDDING, Hicks!!
I'm in pain, I have cabin-fever, so I'm sad, so I have to pick on someone!!
That ornament is just too cute!!
I saw a t-shirt that I really should buy for our DD...it reads:
You read my t-shirt. That's enough social interaction for today.
SO her!!Last edited by Lynn49; Sun, Dec 4th, 2016 at 04:16 PM.

Ordered a tiny 0.5L saucepan and a 5 inch fry pan from walmart.ca online. Is that too small lol. It's like little doll size pot and pan. Perfect for me though to make a couple eggs or a handful of brussels sprouts. The saucepan was $3.00 and the pan was $7.00.

Cabbie,IhaveGAH!!!!Stupid....can't...use...the...s pace-bar...again!!!!!TTYL!
Tying again...ooh, sure! NOW it works!!
Cabbie, I have a small frying pan like that and I love it for one perfect poached egg; the white remains 'contained' and doesn't drool all over the place. Otoh, when I use the larger pan for 2 poached eggs, I do use a bunch of shakes of vinegar into the water first, does the same job, but yep..you'll love that little pan.Last edited by Lynn49; Sun, Dec 4th, 2016 at 04:54 PM.
