Tell that to my Hubby...he just came inside from walking Jenny and said a neighbour asked about me and how I'm doing after my surgery...."How is she"?..."Pi$$ed" was his answer, LOL...and we laughed.....

But really...I am.

1. It's pre-Christmas and I cannot venture out on my own.
2. It's pre-Christmas and I can't bake anything by myself.
3. I'm SO bored.
4. Cabin-fever has set in.
5. I'd have a glass of wine, but I would have to choose between wine and pain meds.
The wine may be inching its way to a win.
6. I have to delegate buying my DH some golf shirts for Christmas to our SIL. Thank heavens he has impeccable taste.
7. I want to buy him a fishing kayak, but the kids will have to pick it up for me and stash it.
8. This shredded tendon or ligament or whatever refuses to heal (hence the "pi$$ed).

I'm quite sure there are other reasons, but those should do for now.

See? Not funny at all.

Aw, thanks, Cabbie, but I didn't mean to ask for sympathy. It's awfully nice of you to offer it, however. I'm usually in a pretty good mood, positive attitude, but, blah. Just not today.

Hello folks!
Got my first "Respite" time today.
The P SW earned an easy 4 hours pay as DH slept through the whole thing. He woke up at 4:00 somewhat "renewed" and we binge watched Homeland which is hardly cheery but we both enjoy it.
He's gone off to bed and I just washed the kitchen floor as I spilled a container of soup all over the floor. I am hoping to connect with a housekeeper tomorrow so we can get the house clean before the weekend visitors.

I should get to bed as I have been up for 18 hours!
Natalka, I am hoping your son's hand is healing well.
Dededi- I appreciate your posts each day.

Cabbie- I hope someone gave you a ride home from your Christmas party with all your sheets, etc. It wasn't a toga party, was it?

I am hoping all the aches and breaks are over! Let's make a pact, ok?

I am currently looking for a "lift" chair so DH can get up and down more easily.

Add it to the "to do" list for tomorrow.

Yep, we got hit with white crap last night..Jenny was none too pleased this morning, not making it to the lawn for her morning piddle...well, the patio stones won't be wilted in the spring!

I'm going to attempt to rally myself out of this funk and head out to 'somewhere' today!!

Hope everyone has a lovely (as lovely as it can be with white crap out there) day...and like Avon said: be SAFE! A fall doesn't take but a second's loss of concentration...be careful out there!!
