RNC - hoping things get better for you!

Loocie - Glad you were able to make some things; all the best to you with the next round of treatment!

avon - hope that your husband tolerated treatment well today.

Lynn - what's the timeline for you being 'all better'?

Just chatted with our son - he said his hand feels better, even though some more bruising showed up today. Work is a pain, of course, but he said the guys are giving him work he can deal with, no lifting for example.
He did mourn the loss of not being able to play video games since that thumb is hurt....

Hope you all have a nice evening!
Hi, @Natalka...thank you for asking...I should be able to walk without much support (perhaps a cane) in another month. The swelling can take up to a year to disappear, but no guarantees all of it will ever be gone. It's still twice the size of my other knee, so it's got a long way to go. Kind-of a bummer, but at least the pain just from walking should be gone, as well as the "buckling' or "giving out" at that knee that could send me into another tumble. Fingers crossed!

Glad that Milan is feeling better; it sounds like he's with a nice group of guys who look after each other. It means so much to find that in the work-place; our DD says she's happy ever time she walks into work...you don't find that too often and it's a blessing when it does. Seems our kids are pretty fortunate.

And people were worried and even bashed city hall. Well they are spending over 3.5 million for the big fireworks and music festival next year over 8 days with the headliner being keith urban. They paid keith urban 1.1 million alone. In the first 2 hours of ticket sales they sold 1.4million dollars worth of tickets and on the first day it's only open to timmins residents. Starting fri at 6pm it opens to everyone and they say they have a long list of people from all over the world waiting to buy tickets. Guess it was a good gamble by the city to actually do this lol.

Sounds cool, cabbie. Sask. has a huge country festival every year - it's held at a place where people camp over four days.

Lineup here - Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Blake, etc.

Have never gone, but people come from other provinces and the US because it's such a big deal.

Lynn - that's longer than I thought, but it's what it is, I guess.

Yes, Milan is lucky to be where he's working, and he knows it - he's had chances to go elsewhere, but is staying there - hopefully he'll do his final stint of school next year and get his journeyman's. The shop is family-owned, good reputation, great guys to work with. It's not perfect (no workplace is), but he loves his work.

Yeah I heard of yours too. Thing is with this, the city is putting it on and the population here is like 42,000. They have 28,000 passes available and people thought it was a waste for the city to do it. It's 8 days long leading up to canada day with keith urban headlining canada day. every night will feature different bands
accompanied with a different country competing in the fireworks competition from uk, usa, ukraine, china, etc with canada closing out on canada day. This city usually doesn't have events like this.

RNC, Lynn, Loocie - I pray for each of you every day.

It's been a rough few days for me. Yesterday was the anniversary of my Husband's passing. I haven't slept well at all, and have spent a couple of hours at the cemetery for the past 3 days. A sad time of year for me.

December 1st already. I hope it's been a good one for each of you.

Hicks I often don't have words for people that are in pain, sad,etc because I don't want to say something stupid. So I'll just leave this here for you.

@22hicks - I can't possibly imagine the depth of your hurt, and I'm just so very sorry you lost him so young.

Enjoying the last of these nice 'fair' weather days - come Monday we are going to be in the minus teens, ack! Now, we are just a few degrees below zero, so that's been okay. However, I miss the sun!

Thank you. Just so you know, you could never say "something stupid". I know it's awkward sometimes, but as long as it's from the heart, it will be appreciated. Just file that away for another time.
    Thank you for the flowers.

    Good Morning everyone....

Just got home from Physio, did the bike, then a few other excersizes, and then some laser on my leg and foot, and then this suction cup thing that put little shocks through them all, but could only feel one suction cup.
@22hicks thank you for your kind words, and my prayers and thoughts are always with YOU... God Bless....
@Lynn49 Hope your Friday is wonderful to YOU.... God Bless....
