I had to go back into my email account like from way back to find my old password to get back in here.

heh so after a busy year, I decided to try and drop in and say hi.
life well has sucked..... my dad is now in a long term facility here for vets. sadly is not doing well. were basically counting the days.... but at the same time, his departure will be bittersweet as he will be back with the love of his life who he hasn't seen since August... my mom..
hardest thing ever in my life was saying good bye to her... however we've learned.. you say 'see you later'...
we don't know what the future holds for him but I think mom would be happy to see him again in time for Christmas. after 62 years together and 3 weeks exactly it would be fitting.
me.. well life just is... day to day.
still trying to find work.. not going well... not sure y. just not given a chance.. it sucks.
both kids (21,22) are working full time. although my oldest has been off with a minor surgery for a few weeks. by the time the new year gets here hopefully both will be back to work.
fingers crossed on that.
and maybe just maybe we'll start to build our dream future.
that's my update. hope every one is doing well.. if I were to try and remember everyone.. I know id forget someone.. best not try... talk later folks.

So sorry to hear about your folks @MrsSunshine . It's tough losing the ones we love.

G'day, everyone!!

Well, success at last! I guess the 2 weeks off from physio has done me a lot of good: I can now step off a 3" step DH made for me without the need for a Depends!! (jk...not that old, yet!) No big pain, but 5 reps is quite enough before I feel a twinge, so I stop there. Yay, me....onward to a full recovery!

Wouldn't you know it? Our GS's Christmas concert is on Thursday, the day of my physio appt....so..must change that appointment!
@22hicks , that sentiment is absolutely beautiful. Now, stay out of trouble wrt shoveling any remaining snow; is it still snowing there? We have an awful blustery day! It's not snowing, but that white crap is sure being blown around...wish I could send it to you @Natalka !
@dededi ....once again, you post the sweetest little graphics; I look forward to them every morning! Yes...there is very little to do around here for me right now, hahaha...I sit and recuperate...sigh... I hope your DD and her little ones continue to be on the mend!

We have my GF and her Hubby dropping in this afternoon for a visit before the madness of Christmas gets completely out of hand...they're finally back home to stay!
