The thread has been started, restarted, tweaked, almost went into cricket land with dessert-ers! ( get it? ) but no need for you to read back that many pages, really just chime on in, set a goal for yourself and post what progress you are having, everyone here is very helpful.

Glad to see everyone is doing great.
I am the same, maintained, which is great for me considering the past 2 weeks have been terrible.
Tonight I am having lasagne, with garlic bread....and it is going to be my send off to back in the saddle.Love like crazy everyday and smile.

I was just watching Dr. Oz and he has pinned a bunch of different recipes on Pinterest that anyone can check out. He showed a few highlights. One was greek yogurt cookie dough. ingredients: greek yogurt, nut butter, vanilla, and a few chocolate chips.
Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt Ingredients: 1 container of plain greek yogurt, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/4 tsp vanilla, 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips
I really think that I am going to try this out. I have free vanilla greek yogurt cups from FPCs that I traded for.
A different recipe that Dr. Oz shared a while ago is for making your own energy bars. The consistency is like firm cookie dough. I haven't made it in a while, but I sure made it frequently for a while there...can't say that portion control was a priority.
Ingredients
1 cup quick-cook oats, uncooked
1/3 cup dried tart cherries (I added semi-sweet chocolate chips)
1/2 cup all-natural peanut butter
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Mix the ingredients together in a bowl.
Spread the mixture in a pan and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Slice and enjoy! Return uneaten bars to fridge for storage.Last edited by Angela273; Mon, Feb 17th, 2014 at 02:21 PM.

I tried the Greek yogurt cookie dough recipe this morning. I didn't really like it.

Just a very bad day yesterday, but by bad I mean DH made another carrot cake.
Family Day and he wanted to make it a special day...I think??
It was triple layered, filled with fresh berries that he cooked ( so it is syrupy as to be a filling ) added pecans, cranberries to the batter and cooked thick slices of orange rind into another glazed type of filling, so wow! Just wow! Cream cheese icing, toasted coconut all around, oh dear Lord HELP ME!!!!! It is almost hopeless.
Just please send in a S.W.A.T. team now and save me from his tempting desserts, or find us " THE SAME PAGE "....you know the one we are supposed to be on??
( leaving the pity party now )

Sick with a really bad cold. Hoping it doesn't effect my losing…if I maintain again I will be happy. No energy to deal with veggies or exercise. I did have an apple today instead of a croissant though!!!

I'm still peddling around lol on my stationary bike these days and being very careful with my food choices like the rest of you folks.
My medical condition is a good and constant reminder (the constant pain) not to cheat I'll tell ya as there is no avoiding it, sure hope this weight loss clears up the problem like the doctor thinks it will.

fantastic job sticking to it jasperandchar! As far as this baking binge DH is on I say it is his version of a mid life crisis, he was never like this with watching cooking shows and trying his hand at new desserts, and it is always sweet stuff he makes, lol!!!
