Is this weird or what? I was at RCSS Sat for the no tax. Was not impressed with the price of their fresh lemons even if I did have a PC offer for every dollar spent on them. I thought I had scored off the damage rack 3 in a bag with a pink sticker.
Well the cashier weighed them! I said lemons are 88 cents a piece, so aren't those 44 cents each? Nope she said they had stickers on each lemon, had to be weighed, came to well over $3.00 ??! so I left them there.
Today I was now out of stupid lemons, so I go back to bite the bitter lemon bullet and grab a few and can you believe there was not ONE lemon anywhere?? I asked 2 different produce guys and they said they had none. No loose ones, none that came in net bags. Are you kidding me?
The good news was getting PC points on other things I had to get, cashing out $20.00 of my points to reduce my bill and paying .33 OOP for a pink sticker bag of Bok Choy thanks to scanning my receipt with Snapsaves when I got home.

What if you removed the chicken from the bones and re-used it elsewhere? Would they notice? Like shred it for salads or quesadillas or homemade soup, sandwiches, etc, etc.

I wanted to get hamburger patties for DH's BBQ dinner tomorrow night. I need at least 12. They only had the 4 packs for $6.99 I would have had to pay $21 for 12 regular size burger patties. Instead I went to Costco and got 12 HUGE (I mean like TWICE the size of Loblaws) for $19.02.

I did cash out for a $25 GC but it only took off $20 from my PC Points and I had to pay $5 in cash. I'm assuming you can only redeem in multiples of $10 or $20?
Yeah, only multiples of 10 after $20.

Speaking as a person who only eats breast meat - yep, you'll notice. For my DM and I, it's a texture thing. We just don't like the texture of the legs and thighs (although we can tolerate it better in soup). But it works for us, because my DF likes the legs and thighs - so when we buy a whole BBQ chicken (one of our favourites from RCSS) it doesn't go to waste.
You can often get boneless, skinless breasts on sale for $3.xx/lb, so we stock up it when it gets that low.

You are right about that. It is the texture and also the colour. Breast meat is white but legs and thighs are brown. I tried putting it in food processor once to blend it with breast and make burgers but nobody ate them.

I finally called PC and they gave me the points this time and told me that we can not get bonus points with redemption.

Is there anything I can do now?

Mine are the exact same way, except for homemade chicken wings. But they'll eat other parts when it mixed in stew or shredded into sandwiches or quesidillas (our new favorite meal). I also use the other meat from a chicken/turkey in cachitori and a long time family favorite chicken puff caserole. There's lots of ways to hide the meat!

I thought the same thing at the RCSS recently. Lemons are very expensive right now. I use one every day for juicing; hope the price decreases soon!

so I go back to bite the bitter lemon bullet

Lemons and also limes (especially limes) will be in short supply soon and much more expensive due to weather problems in the places where the majority of them are grown. I also try to use fresh lemons and limes when cooking but I actually bought some juice for both of them the other day in case the prices really skyrocket.
