I hate when people do that, return worn shoes. Stores should not accept return on already worn shoes...
It's not a big problem when you shop at the stores but I absolutely hated when they sent me used shoes for online purchase.

While it's nice that you want to help the less fortunate, I cannot in good conscience give you a penny until you can explain to me why a charity spent $6M in office space in a ritzy part of town when your mandate states that you are going out to help those less fortunate. And you might want to check why the figures in your annual report don't match those of your tax return.

When I was going through treatment for cancer I did not get one speck of help. I wonder where all the money goes; I know that it certainly didn't help me at all. Cancer is expensive in Quebec.

Cashier at Walmart kept at me to sign up for a Walmart MasterCard even though I said no thank you twice. He seemed a bit uptight I didn't sign up for one. My choice!

Yeah - I've been approached by ppl trying to sign me up too. I just dislike it when they do it in the aisles while I am shopping!! They also don't have anything to identify them as Walmart employees, so it's a little odd when a random person approaches you with a clipboard! They have a quota they need to meet each day. I have seen this posted on the wall behind the CS booth. Maybe the cashier is getting a bonus for each person that signs up?

Loblaws was doing this too a few months ago. As an incentive they would give people a free bag of PC brand chocolate chip cookies. They would meander the aisles with the cookies in a cart and as soon as they spotted a 'target', they rushed over to them with their cart - too funny watching people's expressions as they were blocked in with a cart and a guy trying to sign them up for a credit card

His Xbox died so he went out and the bought a new one online. He said he wanted it online because it had some special edition game or something. I didn't mind because he rarely buys games. Maybe once every few years.

The box came and it wasn't just the xbox and one game. He also bought a second game, and earphones...WHICH WE COULD"VE BOUGHT AT SDM WITH POINTS!!

Now we still have a ton of points we don't know what to do with AND we're out the money he didn't have to spend.

Good idea normally! But I have too much stuff. I am trying to clean house and live a simpler life. Selling all unnecessary stuff on ebay and kijiji. Xmas gifts have already been bought so can't spend SDM points on those. Will have to wait until we come back from some unknown future vacation and have an empty fridge, I guess. LOL

It sometimes takes longer to heal...

I had a molar filled and it hurt for months, the first month was hellish. It hurt even when I breath. Constantly taking Asprin, went back and see the dentist, said I have a cracked tooth which require re filling. (need to remove the cracked area which is about 1/4 off my tooth and it cost me extra money for the re-fill, plus potential filling fall out, root canal, crowing / cap ect...) I grinned and bear it for 6 months (due to lack of fund) eventually it healed. Thanks Heaven!

feel better soon hon. When I had my wisdom teeth taken out my gums didn't heal for 3 months. I ate soup and mashed potatoes the whole time. Salt water rinse every day. The doctor said it took so long because I was "old" (I was 25!) Guess it takes anyone over their teens longer

If they want to take them back at a loss, they can throw them out. When I worked at Zellers we took back EVERYTHING (and I mean everything. One guy brought back dirty underwear and we had to take it. I remember transferring them to the garbage with a series of plastic bags and using pens as tongs haha). But we always threw them away. Who would dare put that stuff on the shelf to sell?

i'm soo sick and tired of being sick! i got a cold back at the end of september.. it hit me hard in october kicked me on my ass spent a good section of october on cold meds... finally got down to a minor cough and med free for just shy of 2 weeks.. and now it's back knocking me on my ass again.. i have a sore throat a constant ache when i breathe, lose half my hearing, my ears just plain hurt!

I don't understand why store take back used merchandise. They should only take back merchandise in the same condition as sold.
