Bears. Yes we have bears.No it's not o.k. to leaves tons of fruit laying around your yard,luring them into town.Please lay off the "they were here first bullcrap",we are surrounded by forest,they have tons of habitat.If there wasn't a bear version of MacDonalds in so many backyards,they wouldn't come into town for easy pickings so often.Conservation had to shoot another one this weekend,and there's pics of it hanging around people's yards eating apples for the last month all over facebook.Folks are all upset-duh...that's what happens if no one chases them away and leaves a smorgasboard in their yard.Not saying it's right that it died,but doesn't anyone have a friggen clue?Put the f'n camera down and throw something at it for cripes sake.And pick those damned apples and give them to the food bank or something.RIP Mr. Giant Cinnamon Blackbear

Oil companies and ranchers......STOP KILLING OUR WILD HORSES IN ALBERTA!!!!!! They are not hurting anyone, they are not destroying any habitat and they are not driving out the wildlife.
Please fellow SCers read up on this. Horses have been found shot dead on roads. And the culling methods are cruel. People sicken me

I notice the mainstream media doesn't cover these dead Mustang stories the way they did when those horses were found shot near Sundre a few years ago.Sorry to learn it's still happening.Their existence needs better PR,people actually go on sightseeing tours to watch them in the US.

I understand your pain.... even though I did use the chocolate FPC, I missed using two Jergens lotions FPCs - that really hurt, since I use a lot of lotion.

Heartbreaking about the bears, secheltsaver....absolutely heartbreaking. Why don't people pick up their own doggone fruit?

We give so much to charity every year. It's frustrating that, this year my sister, who lives in Victoria, needs some 'after-hip-replacement surgery' help, and that kind of help doesn't seem to exist. She is alone and broke. I don't know....it just doesn't seem fair. She doesn't have a support group, or Church, or anything like that. I can't fly out to help her because I am physically-challenged. She is in a major panic about this, and I don't blame her.
