the bill is showing the following use:
on peak ............ $0.32
mid ................. $0.24
off peak ........... $0.54

total bill ........... $45.11

argh!!! wait a minute, $45.11 for $11.00 in actual power used ? Too much!

Giant Tiget has a mini Frozen castle for $35.00. Can't order it online, the closest store to me that has is 2 hrs away, and it's not in the Ontario flyer so I can't price match it even if I could find it in a different store.

DH wobbled in last night about 10pm. And he decides to cook liver and onions. I'm in bed and listening to the disaster going on. Then dead quiet. Too quiet. Next I hear " Babe where is the Crazy Glue?" What did he do? Cut his thumb wide open. ARRGGGG! So I put him back together and go back to bed. This morning, he gets up before me and decides to make another mess cooking himself breakfast. OMG!!!! What a bloody nightmare awaited me in the kitchen. Oh well, at least the kitchen is still standing.......somewhat.

While we're ranting about Power Bills...NB POWER! Every time we have a little storm the power goes off for a long, long time. Seriously, fix it, or let another company do it if you can't handle it.

@heartgirl99 Hydro one is known to do that. They call it "delivery fee." And if you complain about it, that's the end of that. They don't care. Even if it's $1000 (which has happened). No reasoning with them that everything is actually unplugged so how could this be. It's arbitrary. Different people on the block pay different amounts. There are protesters at Queen's Park very often because of it, but the government hasn't done anything about it, I think. There is an ombudsman investigation I believe

Hope his thumb heals up quickly. Crazy glue? LOL! I can feel your pain, though, about the kitchen. You probably had it all looking clean with clear counters and sink, and MR decides to cook himself breakfast. Did he clean up after himself? Gotta love 'em anyway, eh? (You don't have to answer that! )
