Neighbour told me she wishes she could afford to give the kids money for fast food every day, because it would be so much easier for her. I suppose she doesn't figure her children's health is her responsibility. smh!

Mom bought a pack of Tassimo pods that looked like they had leaked in the package and the milk was all crusty all over the pods making them unusable. Emailed the company with lot numbers and everything and they sent a letter with "replacement." The "replacement" is $3 off coupons. I can print $3 off coupons off Smartsource, so that's useless. I guess we have to hope the store will take them back in that condition. Way to stand behind your products, Kraft

My parents are trying to cull things. We had a set of railings that I could easily just stick into the ground to decorate with lights for Christmas. They were both told over and over I was gonna use them for that. Guess what got thrown out yesterday or the day before.

This isn't the first time it's happened. Nobody asks me about anything, and it's not like I'm unreachable ever. There's always apologies from my mom after but that doesn't fix the fact that the thing I wanted is now sitting crushed up in a dump.

What is with all the hashtag/emoji clothing for little girls? And if it doesn't have a hashtag or emoji on it, there's a cut out, "meow" across the chest or some random inapropriate saying(came across one online today that said "will you be my bae?).

Hah, this reminds me of when I would buy clothes from Stitches. When I was like 11 or something my Aunt and cousins took me shopping and I wanted a black tshirt with red "69" on it. Shes like " No you can`t have that" When I figured out why as I got older, it was a "Good job Aunty" that popped into my mind.

Renewal stickers going up again in Ontario. If you live in Ontario and need to renew your sticker soon don't wait. As of Sept. 1, renewal stickers in southern Ontario will cost $120 for the year, up from $108 currently. For northern Ontario, the fee rises to $60 from $54.

Sticker cost has almost doubled since 2011.
Sept. 1, 2011 - $74
Sept. 1, 2012 - $82
Sept. 1, 2013 - $90
Sept. 1, 2014 - $98
Sept. 1, 2015 - $108
Sept. 1, 2016 - $120

In the Greater Toronto Area (Burlington is part of the western GTA). Hamilton's still in the $90 zone for September renewal.
