I have one of those neighbours too.....I love when she waters her lawn and manages to soak my clothesline. Every Thursday morning at 8:00am her lawn cutting service starts because grass is important according to her.

I had one who used to light a bonfire the moment I had hung my clothes outside..Sometimes she needed to light one every day...

ok i need to rant...i just need to get this out

my daughter still doesn't have a teacher.. we are two weeks into the school year and we don't have a teacher yet...

the school had to break the classes down and add two new divisions, do a formal job posting then higher a new teacher.. due to teacher union laws they were not able to post the job until thursday... so they most likely will not have a teacher until mid/late next week.. that is NOT OK, they have a substitute which i am wildly not thrilled about, the impression i get is that she doesn't seem to be teaching the kids, their afternoon consisted of art and "genius hour" which is basically free play and don't even get me started on "reflection time" .. the kids are in sort of a limbo waiting for a teacher to come in and take over the class...

i'm also not thrilled about her getting a new to the school teacher, which could easily be a teacher without a solid tested lesson plan for the grade.. that is a HUGE concern of mine.. we had a new to the school teacher for grade one and you could tell her heart wasn't in it.. she was in all honesty a bad teacher she didn't want to be there, my child's school work lacked, she told one parent to medicate her child and told me if i wanted to talk to her to book an appointment even if all i want is a few minutes of her time to clarify something, and i could tell she wasn't getting a solid education.. and i beyond fear a repeat of this!... i'm also frustrated that there are 3 boys in her class that are known... for lack of better terms.. high maintenance kids.. kids that have a hard time focusing that are distracting and cause problems, personally i do not think you should put 3 kids known for this into the same classroom that is just asking for trouble.. and i don't want my child to be surrounded by kids who are handfuls taking away from her education...

i'm frustrated.. and as this past week has progressed i've become more and more frustrated with this.. to the point on monday (which is a Pro-D day.. we are two weeks into the school year and ready a Pro-Day) i'm going to the school and seeing what can be done..seeing if i can get my daughter switched into another class (the only solid grade 3 class)

I have my second specialist appt tomorrow; again, Mother Nature is against me.
I need a physical check up and it keeps getting postponed. This lady books appts 2 months apart because she's so busy.
Also the meds she gave me sent me into an emotional rollercoaster , my options for treatment are getting limited and it's making me really, really sad.

Now that Canada Post is no longer threatening to strike - my mail is arriving damaged again......grrrrr. I hate to complain as last time I did my passport got sent to the other side of town, credit card statements were marked return to sender....etc.

Any suggestions??

I should of stayed home and not went on vacation. Hubby and I went out east to see my dad & sister - walked into the house it was horrible with mildew, mold, urine, feces and a wretched smell. They were like nothing is wrong - I was having a panic attack and didn't stay - lucky for family. Then talked to all sorts of social services and since they were in sound mind they could nothing. They were like just clean this place and leave - like wtf. Horrible vacation - waste of money and next time I see them it will at someone funeral. I know being harsh but now I am depressed .

Why do strangers feel the need to tell a pregnant woman in her third trimester how large she is or how she can improve her appearance?

I don't think that's appropriate even if you're not pregnant, but hormonal and cranky is a dangerous combination. Some people need to get themselves a new hobby. I say if it's not written in the corporate dress code, or your name is not Victoria Beckham, zip it!

It's the second co-worker today who's done this. I was taught in the prenatal class that the only words allowed out of your mouth to a pregnant woman is "You look lovely." End of comments.

sore neck since late Friday......hrmpph!! can barely check the blindspot for lane changes, so tough to back out of the driveway too. Getting VERY good at doing this though

I just got a call on Friday - someone cancelled for nasal surgery so my February surgery moves to October 3 and pre op this Monday. Now I am nervous and exited plus I guess no Thanksgiving dinner - all depends if he wants to go to mandarin
