Marvel did this well enough for me though. I had lol moments many times during this, mostly from Bradley Cooper's voice! ( it sounds nothing like him ) Also if anyone remembers that quirky tv show called Pushing Daisies starring Lee Pace, you'd never recognize him in this as the evil character Ronan.

Laugh out loud funny! Recommend to anyone if you're into comic book movies. Marvel is definitely miles ahead of DC for comics to movies.
WOB, just so you know, Lee Pace is now starring in a show called Halt and Catch Fire on AMC. Never saw Pushing Daisies so didn't know him til now.
Agree that B.C. was very funny as Rocky.
    I am Groot.
    I rate it 10/10.

I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

At the very end when the dancing baby Groot wormed his way into our hearts I immediately gushed to my son " I WANT that toy for Christmas!!" he is saying maybe they won't even make one? They had better!!

Damn the torpedoes! ( no not the title of the movie we saw tonight ) I mean we IGNORED the critics who did not give T.M.N.T. even one star and we went anyways!! ( 2 free admits on the 3D!!, thanks Scene)
I am curious if someone pi**ed in their theatre popcorn when they went? Honestly the critics go to a Michael Bay movie knowing full well it is a movie NOT for Oscar consideration right? It is just there to entertain us for the summer, and I rate it 8/10. Any parent nostalgic over these silly guys ( my boys were into them when they were tots ) will probably get a chuckle from some of the dialogue. Oh and Johnny Knoxville was the voice of Leonardo! ( trivia for you to remember 10 years from now )

I rented Enemy ( Jake Gyllenhal ) from Red Box because...well I already said why ( Jake, hee hee)
Sorry but even those smouldering eyes and nicely trimmed beard could not sway me to rate this anymore than 3/10
If anyone has seen it please pm me to tell me WTF is was about or what it meant because I did not get it at all??

Truth be told ev, I have always done lots of movies all the time. Even before kids, there was the 18 screens at the Eaton
Centre Multiplex downtown, el cheapo rates and I was walking distance from it. We have usually gone to whatever seems enticing as soon as it is released! It IS my favourite pass time. I figure it this way.
No smokes, no drinks ( well most of my life anyway ) no illegal substance use, no casinos, no live sports or concerts, not much spent on clothing ( uniform covered that for 36 yrs ) and if you consider that as a family of 5 we had limited things we could enjoy together for under $25.00 and as long as I snuck in snacks for my kids we could do it at our local theatre.
( a steal at just $4.99 adult admissions when my 3 were in the 4-12 age range )
This w/e everyone BUT me is seeing Sin City 2 ( ugh....shudder! )
