I have been a member of Swagbucks for years. It works on a referral basis, and many SC members have links in their signatures. I often save up my Amazon.ca gcs and redeem for things we were wanting to buy anyway. Example: Bissell carpet cleaner, dh's new Braun shaver (to replace his old one), LO's hockey helment, LO's cloth swim diapers, etc.
Here is a link to the Swagbucks thread that will give you more details and helpful tips.

Pm me for a referral link if you’d like to earn a $10 bonus! when you create your Checkout 51 rebate account
Caddle Referral Code: ANGELA67343 and we will both earn $1 bonus

no Nancy, our 're-use' it centre is a buy it by the LB place. basically cast offs from a local thrift store get put into HUGE bins. people sort through it.
i'd say 75% of its is still useful.
dh got up this morning and decided to 'downsize' his purging plan. thankfully most of what i want to get rid of is still on the plan phew..
were working on our living room right now. slow and sure.Be Strong
Be True
Be You.
Simple as that!

I love books and movies but make a huge effort not to purchase them either find them free online from kobo or Amazon or borrow from the library friends and family.
Purchase wise...i have a hard time not coming home with new wool yarn or knitting items.
Clothing wise. ....socksLast edited by saundyl; Sun, Jan 11th, 2015 at 06:54 PM.

I can`t pass up a bargain on towels, crochet cotton and yarn, but since that is for my work I really don`t count that. My real weakness is long fleece nighties.
Went shopping this afternoon. Should have stayed home...would have been a lot cheaper. lol
MrsS Sorry the crochet club didn`t work out. I`ve never gone to any...guess I`m a solitary crocheter too.

Well, I have spent the day feeling sick to my stomach. I NEVER feel that way. I was never pregnant but I don't know how all you incredible women could put up with it - never mind THE day! Finally, I figured out that maybe a Gravol might help - after 2 meals of toast, applesauce and bananas. (Didn't have any rice I wanted to eat.) - good old BRAT diet. So now I feel better (somewhat.) Take care! Have a great evening!
