Did you know I was in Quebec in 95 and voted FOR separation?

I think I posted about this here before. I didn't want Quebec to separate but I also thought it should be the right of Quebecers to decide their fate, not me. I had lived in Quebec less than a year. I voted yes to cancel out one of the no votes from my dozen or so co-workers from NFLD, NS and MB.

Near pooped myself when yes almost won. And then Parizeau's speech... the anger in his eyes.

Wow!!! No I did not know you voted yes. What were you thinking????

Parizeau's speech haunted him to the end with the Anglo and ethic community. No tears shed when he dropped dead this year.
