A Potential Brag For Us All!!

Some of you may know, and some of you may not - but several years ago - having spent a life of being overweight in my teens, to morbid obese in my adult life - that I decided to make a huge change!!!

One Day while playing with my daughter who was then just 3, I sat on a park bench like a lump while she called to me "come play with me" but sadly - I just didnt have the enegry

I made it my goal to loose weight so that I could enjoy her life and participate in life rather than sit by and be over weight - so I started my weight loss journey!! I made small changes day to day and within a year, I had lost 200 pounds!!!!

I took the healthy road and now I help my friends and family, as well as complete strangers meet their goals - that is why I started a facebook page called "Taking it off together"

I thought this was a good time to start the page since I just had the baby and also have some extra weight to shed. I will be posting updates, tips and healthy recipes to help motivate myself and others. If you have a few extra pounds to loose feel free to join. It is a place where you can share your good days and bad days among others who are going through the same thing.

I am taking the same journey. I have over 100 pounds to loose and since end of June I have lost 33 pounds and counting. I am doing weight watchers online and goodlife. What did you do?

Awesome! I need to get myself back in order. I was over 200lbs about seven years ago and I had a similar moment with my own children. I wanted to be involved in their lives and not just be an onlooker. So I started working out and changing my habits and after about a year I had gone from 1x/2x to a size 6 and about 126lbs. Unfortunatley the last few years I've been sitting in a class room and it's been a year and a half of no work after graduation, that equals lots of sedentary activities and over eating. I've now gained back about 60lbs and I just cant get my act together! So I can use all the motivation I can get!
