Thank you everyone for your prayers and kind thoughts. Each day brings a slight improvement. Last night I went to bed at 10:00...woke up a couple times and not again til noon. Guess I made up for the last few months.
My niece is picking up a few groceries for me tonight when she goes shopping. Times like this it would be so nice if hubby could still see better and drive.

Snow day here too, which is funny since we live on the same street as Logan’s school. Since most of the teachers live out of the city this isgood thing for them. I think it’s only the 3rd time since the oldest started school 12 yrs ago that we had a snow day.The kids were happy & I worked at home and avoided the slippery roads.
Crochetlady: Wow, just wow. I am glad you are on the road to recovery but what a fright.

Oh my crochetlady I'm glad you're home. Worrisome business there.
Sassy...I hope you've found a plan that works for you. I worry for you because it seems to end up placed on your shoulders to figure out.
Giseleda...so sorry for your loss.
Avon hope the chemo is going well!
LAUNDRY ISSUES...I WISH I HAD A LAUNDRY FOLDING FAIRY.
I bribed the boys into cleaning their rooms before they left for Easter with their mom. We are headed to visit bfs mom this weekend. The boys and their mom are in Edmonton for a hockey tournament.
I paid to fix my door latch this week. Crazy car thought I was driving with the door open.
Getting the nose piece on my glasses fixed this after noon. I lost it.

As some of you may recall dh is a substitute EA while at work today a principal from another school called to speak with him about filling in for someone for 2 weeks, he called her back but explained that he had already commited himself for 3 days during that 2 week period but she wants him to come in on the days that he is available AND she said that it may very well become a contract position. We are not trying to get to excited but that would be awesome if he got a contract until the end of the school year.
I am hosting Easter lunch on Sunday with both our folks and BIL, I went to WM and they had no turkeys
. So off to Independent grocers I went, there fresh turkeys were the size of small chickens so passed on that and grabbed an PC turkey only to realize once I was putting it in the cart it was stuffed, oh well I was already fed up so decided to give it a try. It's a bonus as I won't have to ask MIL to make the stuffing/dressing (that's what she does for turkey meals I host) she makes it but under protect....
Wishing everyone a great evening2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Well, get together one is done.
Had sister and family over for dinner as they are renovating kitchen. Pulled pork.
I spent the whole day cleaning and in the kitchen.
Boiled eggs to dye with my girls and niece. Prepped dinner. Prepped veggies for the weekend get togethers. Made two GF lasagnes from scratch. By Monday you can scrape me off the floor.
Or if I can reach the Easter basket a little chocolate and caffeine will probably keep me a float.
Tomorrow is DH's family. I have been feeling a little "odd duck" lately with them. Not sure why, hopefully it goes well."There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

Good morning Everyone,
Crochetlady glad to see you are on the mend and home.
There are only two of us but lately laundry seems to be a huge issue in our house, mostly due to time of use. We have had so much going on we miss doing laundry and then due to time of use it is so hard to catch up due to my hours. You can't start it until 7 but I go to bed between 8 & 9 not leaving enough time to get it washed and dried.
This week has been totally insane, we have a huge project on the go at work and it has been one problem after another. We recently upgraded our system and the process went from 2 minutes to 4 minutes & 20 seconds (yes I timed it) which wouldn't be bad if we did not have over 1800 of these things to run. We have dealt with everything from the system booting us and losing everything that was run, to finding out the information wasn't updating to the website and took our computer people 2 days to look at (and I fixed it by mistake, I restarted our servers for another reason and fixed the problem), our printer broke down twice. It has just been insane and now our remove connection is down and I cannot connect to do any of this from home.
Due to how busy I have been and the weather I asked Mom to do some shopping but only grab what we needed, Milk, Yogurt, Toilet Paper, Potatoes and few on sale items at the store she was going too. She asked if he could grab a few things ok fine whatever. Yeah let's just say I am really pissed but haven't said anything yet as she spent triple our weekly grocery budget. I am really wondering if she would have spent this much had it of been her money and not mine paying for the groceries. Guessing she will get a shock when I refuse to do any grocery shopping this week, hope she shopped wisely.
The groceries bugged me in many ways as we have been discussing things and actually had great communication lately but all of a sudden it seems like since out great conversation where I thought we laid everything out she is now not worried at all. All of a sudden she seems to have to worries about money, our plans for the weekend she is now trying to back out (we are supposed to build my furniture for my room I have had since September, clean the stockpile room and something else I cannot remember). She has expressed to be a few times today she wants to do nothing today which is nice but our plan was to start living our lives likes she is working full time and when is not at work we get our house in order and get things done so if a full time job comes along she can jump in head first.
I am trying so hard to be positive but it seems like we stuck in a one step forward 5 steps back pattern. I am sitting here quietly right now but have a feeling at some point today it will all come out and she may not be happy. On the flip side I have to say my Dad's assistant has been a life saver we are both going through things in our personal life and have been able to be there for each other and she is someone I can be completely open with.
Alright well I am off to find something to eat and then think I am going to try to push Mom into helping me build my bed, let's just say I did not move all other furniture in my room last night to make room to build for no reasons.
Have a wonderful day everyone and hoping everyone in Ontario is safe and and sound after yesterday insane weather.

Dog to hospital 3X in the past 24 hours- pancreatitis and a foreign body in his intestines. (Two visits were in Windsor though - an hour away)
Approximately $900 later he still isn't eating reliably and I have to get pain meds in him. Poor little pooper has a VERY sore bum and is continuing with blood in his very loose stools.
He's resting comfortably
Need some rest! I don't know how you young mothers do the "stay up all night and keep going the next day " thing! Props to you!

Avon hope your furbaby feels better soon.
Yes those emergency visits can rack up the $$$$, to go to the local animal hospital here it is $150 (or was this was 6+ year ago) just for the vet to walk into the room.

I'm so sorry to hear about everyone's health issues. I'm hoping that everyone is on the mend, human and furry.
I've been in a lot of pain for the last two days again and it doesn't fell like it is about to let up any time soon. I have laundry that it still waiting to be folded and put away. More laundry waiting for the wash. I need to keep up on the cleaning because the twins are really good at trying to pick up even the smallest of items to put into their little mouths. We are staying home for Easter, our only invite was 5hrs away and would require a stay in a hotel for the nights we would be visiting. I've been thinking about our friends and families who will be celebrating their first Easter without certain loved ones.
I've been posting on a Facebook garage sale page to look for items, including a cloth swim diaper for baby girl. Baby boy has one from big brother. A lady is giving me a free cloth swim diaper, we are acquainted through children's play groups because we both have 3.5yr old children. She just gave birth to their third child earlier in the month. I bought "new" hardly worn blue rubber boots for $5, and the last delivered them last night. I also bought 3 pairs of 5/6 footwear for $5 to put aside for baby boy. I brought my bin of shoes over to my neighbour's house. Her 14 month old son is in 5/6 shoes. She now has most of my collection in that size. She'll return them to me when he is fine with them, I'm just hoping they won't be too worn out...so I'll have to get new ones for our son again. She currently have my bin of 18-24 month clothes for her son, which will also be returned when she is done with them. I returned an infant bouncy chair to her, which will be passed along to her sister who is expecting a baby in June. I brough over some baking for her and she sent me home with extra potatoes from her mom's garden that are starting to sprout. We have this ongoing unofficial exchange thing going on. We literally live across the street from each other. Yesterday our sons played together at her house for 1.5hrs. I would usually join her, but I stayed home with the twins because they still have sinus congestion and I didn't want to speed it to her 4 children.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

I called the hospital's radiology department to find out how much longer I am supposed to wait before they schedule my contrast pelvic CT. She was busy, got a bunch of info from me and called me back. The radiology department has no record of the requisition from mid-February. No wonder it's been longer than the 1-4wks without even receiving an appointment date. So now I get to do pre-requisite bloodwork before they even book my CT scan. I literally lol'd at the radiology department and me gp's secretary. It just doesn't surprise me that this happened, especially if someone considered how I ended up in this condition back in 2007, the reason for this scan. It sucks even more because Dh has been home on holidays for the last 2wks, so he could have easily cared for our children while so had the test performed at our local hospital. Once I am finally given an appointment date I will have to arrange childcare, possibly my neighbour or else Dh will have to take the day off work. *sigh*. I don't look forward to this particular test, but it needs to be done to get more information.

Good Evening Everyone,
What can I say, you win some you some. I got my bed built, wow was that an adventure. There was one part that would just not go together and ended up delaying the whole process, but the bed is built. With that being said I still need to built the drawers to go under the bed (hoping these won't take too long) and the dresser.
With that being said dinner ended up being pizza which we ordered in. By the time we were done neither us wanted to cook. I used a credit I had on my credit card from some returns I made. I had the money set aside for the original purchase and never put that money back into my budget.
Yes I did have to kind of push Mom into helping but in the end she did so I am happy with that. I am hoping once she starts to see results there will be less pushing from me and more just doing on her part. Especially since I will be away most of April & May for work.
I will open the first box of drawers before I go to bed so I can see what we have to get done tomorrow. My goal for tomorrow is to get the drawers built and our stockpile room cleaned up. I would like to get the dresser done but if we do not get it done it is something I can do next weekend on my own since I already built the dresser I have alone.
Have a great night everyone, off to look up some crochet patterns.
