I went shopping at the two second hand store in town this morning because I need clothes that actually fit me. I bought 3 pairs of shorts for $3 each, a pink tank top for $1.50, bloomers for baby girl for 50c, a nice hoodie for $3 for our son to grow into, and 6 matching kids bowls for $1.50. When I left the second store my truck wouldn't start. We eventually got it home and Dh is trying to address the issue. There is a short from my tail light being out after the accident. The light also comes back on in the dash a few minutes after the truck it turned off, so both of these things are slowly draining my battery.
I'm upset after calling my brother. He hasn't been keeping in touch and has kept things quiet. My SIL was coughing up blood, so he took her back to the hospital. She was put into a medically induced coma for another 2 weeks. She is now awake and starting to stand. It sounds like they will need to sell their house in Estevan and permanently move near Regina. I'm close to this brother and his family is my only local blood relatives, so I'm upset that his family will be moving away. He has 3 of my nephews. I understand that they are doing what is best for SIL, but I already miss him. The rest of my relatives live in Saskatoon and further. All of dh's relatives live in Alberta.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Good day! Went to visit my friend. This morning. She made me an omelette for breakfast then we went for A 6km walk. Then back to her house and she made me lunch lol. Toasted tomato sandwich with real Greek salad ( no lettuce). Was really good.
Came home and did some cleaning. Need to pull the bacon from freezer and cook it for ceaser salad. Then make homemade croutons. And nachos on the menu. Think I will grab a bottle of wine from cellar. Seems like one of those lazy relaxing nights chatting with my man

Sorry J and C to hear about your Mum's health issues.
We just attended my husbands nephew's wedding and are chilling( literally) in our hotel room awaiting the reception . It has been hot and humid in Illinois so am thankful for AC. Off to visit my sister tomorrow for a couple days, then DH's sister and back home in 5 days-we have felt kind of tired this week after 4 weeks of travel, hot weather and jet lag which we are finally getting over.

We received news early this morning that DH's sister who is to be married in two weeks had a heart attack last night. We were in Chatham getting ready to meet the truck to take the rest of our things to London when we got the call. She is in Cardiac Care in Windsor. DH headed down to see her - friends were to take me back to London to unload the truck but he realized as he got to Windsor that he had all the keys to the apartment so he had to visit for a while and then come back, pick me up and head on to London.
His sister is stable, comfortable, and well tended. She will have an angiogram on Monday and then a medical plan will be finalized.
Prayers and Good wishes would be appreciated.
Hoping all of you are well.

30AM wub2 Lucerne 4L milk
im buying 2 wooden kitchen chairs for $10 because I need more seating for my daycare kids.
I grew 3 yellow zucchinis a little bigger for our old babysitter to turn into relish. I'm charging her $3 and she is supposed to pick them up later today.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Avon, sending healing thoughts your way, my husband had cardiac ablation surgery on Friday and we just got home from Calgary and he is recovering. They can do so much more with the heart these days, I hope she recovers for the big day.
Angela, i too have an abundance of zucchini, here are two recipes I am going to try out this week!! the zucchini coconut bread looks especially delicious, I am going to sub the coconut oil with melted butter, as I have not jumped on the coconut oil bandwagon and wont' pay the high prices for the latest trendy food!!

I have made these zucchini crisps before and we love them!!

oh avon! So sorry to hear that news about your SIL. Hoping for a complete recovery for her and then to carry forward with her wedding plans.
For those of you up to your eyeballs in zucchinis I sure feel for you. been there, done that years ago, so DH was very wise to just make ONE pot of zucchini plants and we have been picking just 2 small sized ones off every five days or so. I love it! We have sliced them long ways and grilled them, or diced and added to a stir fry. Just enough so we don't start fretting about ways to use them.
What a glorious day it is today! Not too hot.

I am at the laundromat washing and drying all ay once so I can just go home and put away and be done with it. Then DS will finish cleaning his room and I will go through his closet. Will post for sale what we are getting rid of. Then going for a swim! The water is beautiful and the beach sand is calling my toes! Lol
