Sounds lovely, esp with fresh pumpkin puree. I can't use nuts since our GS has a nut allergy, but I do toss some pecans into the loaf for us while the raisin muffins all go to him.

Now you have 2 votes for "my" recipe from both myself and @GoJays !

Why am I not surprised, @GoJays ?! Isn't it an incredible recipe?

The first time I made it I used the large can of pumpkin instead of the small one that's in the recipe. It was amazing! So I've continued to use the large one ever since.

We ended up at the kids' home yesterday and omgosh, when we opened the door, the aroma of their simmering spaghetti sauce was incredible! They'd made fresh pasta which was drying in the front den, with the sliding glass pocket door locked, since the two Siamese cats know how to slide it open.
I mentioned to our DD that I've never made fresh pasta, so right then and there, she hauled out the ingredients and had me make it! Then she turned the pasta roller handle, as I fed the pasta into it and caught it underneath. When we finally had them through the last setting both Hubbys were put on transfer duty, taking them from the island to the cloth on the dining table.

Omgoodheavens, dinner was incredible! I've never had "melt in your mouth" pasta before and that sauce was heavenly!!
We played a couple rounds of Phase10, and were home by 8:30...what a lovely afternoon!

We got more white crap overnight which is always an unwelcome surprise here, but it looks like we'll be putting up with it from now on. Crappy stuff.

Take care, everyone, and have a lovely day!!

Wow the gym raised $20,000 today for a local family. They did 6 spin classes in a row with donations going to the family. Plus a silent auction. I did the 11am spin and the owner paid for my spot for me since I canít afford $20 right now. She said on Facebook: Mike I canít do this without you so Iím going to buy you a spot. Which time do you want so I picked 11am. Hope everyone has a good week ahead.

    Oh and @GoJays

@cabmonk do you recall the name of the shade. Your nails look great. I love grey polish and that would be awesome for winter.

Hey @Lynn49 your Packers won today...in the snowstorm!
Our Toronto FC lost to Seattle and our Leafs lost to Chicago.....sigh.

In " anxious antsy behaviour " news.....our front deck is partially set out with adorable Christmas decor.
I fashioned wee felt Santa hats and adhered them onto our ceramic bunnies heads , so ya know my glue gun got a workout.
Then DH and I filled a 3 feet tall red planter with fresh boughs, fake holly berry/pine-cone inserts, fake snowballs and some oversized spheres. ( Plus and a whack of other fun colourful stuff! )

We drew the line at stringing any lights just yet. The snow can come all it wants now, our deck sort of welcomes it...ha ha

@walkonby -You have been Christmassy busy!

The snow has started here but it's still pleasant outside.

I love that Remembrance picture too!

Sold all my moving boxes on Kijiji -got $10 for the "Miscellaneous " jar. I have all kinds of gift cards that I need to use up. So I will be doing some "targetted" shopping.

I am very tired, so going to say, "Good night, sleep tight!"

Good morning all. It's not very nice weather out today so anyone driving be careful on the road. You will have to have lots of patience since it out first snow fall of the seasons drivers are going to forget how to drive in this weather.

@walkonby you had a busy Sunday getting ready for the holidays.

Atm we are having a light wet snow that doesn't seem daunting at all. I know that is going to change SO....this morning I plugged the 2 special Christmas heavy extension cords ( they are as thick as a garden hose ) into the timer base, got that plugged into the garage outlet, then threaded the cords along the pathway up to the deck.
I've not decided which light sets I'll use outside just yet, BUT all I have to do once I dig them out of storage is plug them into each available spot along the cords. Then I will be the Commander in Chief inside with my remote!! bwahaha!!!

o.k sorry everyone, seems I've contracted the festive bug early....TOO early, I know.
