Hello! Welcome back, @Skippy !
I am sorry to say that I gave up after 40 minutes of looking for Hannah, @Lynn49 , only to find later that I could just type her name at the top and Viola!
So, the Junos are in Saskatoon! So we'll all have to scoot out there to see @Lynn49 's friend, once she wins and then scoop you up @Natalka , to come with us.!
I went out today to take coffees and hot chocolates to picketing teachers. I found my BrotherB at his site but couldn't see my DSIL at her site. I did have a supportive talk with 4 very young and enthusiastic teachers, though, and passed along a lot of sweets that have been tempting me. Achieving 2 good things at once.
I have signed up to do a free 21 day meditation with Depak Chopra and tangentially, Oprah. We're on Day 4 and it is so relaxing. If nothing else, I am sitting down and being quiet for 20 minutes a day. I was so relaxed today that I fell asleep. There's a quiet little bell that signals the end. The headache that I had before I started has, indeed, gone away.
I did take Transcendental Meditation when I was at university in my "hippie" days, and could still do it, if I thought about it.
Enjoy your evening, folks. Get ready for the large dump of snow down south here. Take care!

Good morning!
Yay, it's Friday!
Nurse will come today for a quickie appointment to redo the Coband bandage.
Found a teeny blister on the shin of the other leg - will show her, but I am just hoping it will go away on its own since it hasn't gotten bigger over the past 24 hours.
A year ago the windchill was -47! Today wc is -17 and temp should get to -5.
Hope you all have a Fab Friday!

3 brownouts this a.m made my day annoying! Apparently somehow they caused my PVR to die. ( would a surge protector Power bar have prevented that? ) We're faced with replacing the receiver ( cost of a new one....cough, cough, $499.00 )
So THAT was pretty much how my day spiraled downward.
Still working on what to do but absolutely in full on mourning mode because we have lost everything that was recorded and waiting to be watched....AGAIN!!
Hope everyone is having a way better day.

Oh poop! @walkonby ! I do think that a surge protector would have saved it- but not sure.
Went to my friends ' place and shared my soup with their leftovers. Great meal!
Then when I went to come home, my key remote would not open the car. Discovered that there was a hidden key inside but then it wouldn't start the car. Finally got it to work. Have to try and get it fixed tomorrow.
Really pooped when I got home.
Got to bid you good night.

Good morning, Happy 🐈 urday!
Kinda good news about my leg blisters situation. The new little one opened by itself, so we could just leave that alone - and it was still a visible blister when my husband put on my compression stocking around 7 a.m. and the nurse was here around nine.
Right leg - two are healed, the one just above my ankle bone is being a stinker and not closing, so I still have to have the silver mesh put on it before it's bandaged. This also means less pain for me because that silver stuff works well, but it hurts. It's called Acticoat antimicrobial mesh.
Hope you all have a great day!
Wow, so fluffy and such beautiful colouring!Last edited by Natalka; Sat, Feb 8th, 2020 at 11:13 AM.
