Hello to everyone - thanks so very much for your messages, mentions, expressions of concern. Very much appreciated.

My husband is not doing well at all. His surgery was Feb. 18, so we expected progress by now. A visit to the family doc last week did nothing.

So since he was my carer, our son has ably stepped into the role for both of us. It's hard on him, mostly because of the time commitment. He comes daily after work, on the weekend I try plan things do a day can be skipped so he can have a full day free.

My health stuff is pretty much the same, not great. Some days/weeks are better than others. I am still unable to even stand, just tried a few days ago. I do ensure I do as much movement as possible, though!

Not Nat, but that's wonderful news. I still can't get any information on whether or not we'll be welcoming any refugees here; our DD wants to start a clothing and toy drive at her office and our GS's school, but, nothing official, yet.

Oh dear @Natalka I just read back about your family situation. Can I say how much of an angel your DS is? ( you already know that though ).
The post surgery recovery for your DH does sound terrible, but he sounds like such a fighter, so eventually lets hope he regains his strength and returns to full health! Your medical status sadly does not seem to have inched towards improvement, which for you must be simply unbearable.
Talk about having your plates full! ((((many, many hugs and prayers ))) to all 3 of you!!

Good morning!!

So I tested negative for covid yesterday, but unfortunately Hubby re-tested today and he's still positive. Actually that little line showed up I bet within 10 seconds unlike last time when it took a minute or two!! All he's feeling is stuffed up like with a cold, so we continue to be blessed.

Tomorrow I have a specialist appt with an eye specialist for some 'narrowing of a vein in my left eye' which may require a needle which I'm terrified to have to face. I wish my Hubby could be with me, but he'll be isolating in the car waiting for me.
I'm also anxious to get my glasses back with the bi-focal in them, love to have them back before Easter dinner with the kids unless I come down with covid!!!

+7 today so I may ask Hubby to go for a walk with Jenny, it's quiet here, so we're not likely to run into anyone.

Enjoy the day, peeps!! Oh! Peeps!! How am I going to get them for my Easter cake now?! Only CT had them left, lol...they sure do wander off!! I know the kids said to call them for "anything" we need, but peeps just don't seem like any sort of emergency, lol...hope he's better next week!

Stay as safe as you all can be, don't drop your masks, amof some provinces may be back to requiring masks?? Lovely.
