Good day fellow thread folk! Hope everyone is keeping well today!
Despite the cold bundled up and walked.(It let me know I was still alive, although I am sure there are easier ways of telling!)
Interesting two weeks coming up as DW on holidays. So far so good as she’s still asleep!
Totally different than expected Christmas week and now as plans were based around DS coming home.
He FaceTimed at our midnight while sitting on the beach. As I get older I can see what the attraction is to living in Australia in December.
Whatever you are up to today stay safe and warm!
Blessings my friends!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

just a share here....DH got up....shuffled to the kitchen, brewed a Tassimo, reached in and grabbed the
" milk "...but after pouring it in the mug he realized it was the Orange Juice! he drank it anyways.
I am kinda still giggling. At the time I was making deviled eggs so did not want my piping hand to go wonky.
Mmmmm, deviled eggs! Been a while for some of those.

I think the butter thing has been in the news for a bit. CBC covered it in February of last year I think and then so did the BBC and such. Apparently the science behind the butter firmness is down to many factors, but then again I think the funding of the study was done by the dairy board? Anyhoo...take a look: https://www.cbc.ca/news/marketplace/...lace-1.5954569
As to that BUTTER DEBACLE, the first thing that I questioned about butter was how hard it is, now, straight out if the cupboard! When have I ever had to nuke it to soften it enough to butter toast?!
That's when I did my skeuthing and found out about the palm fat!
Why is this still a national secret?! No news about it!
Our "news" channels are being channeled, alright! Handled by them that know what's best for us, by keeping us in the dark!!!
We plebians couldn't understand or handle the truth!
Stay warm and well, everyone!
***I just contacted Marketplace and asked them where their report is on this issue!! CBC has likely been told to bury this story![/QUOTE]

Definitely, imho, swayed by the dairy marketing board AND the CBC. Reported on, then dropped. Job done.

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! Not nearly as freezing cold out today as it was yesterday.
The other night we enjoyed a quickie dinner of Spicy Italian Sausage Tortellini ( Olivieri brand ) with the Spicy sausage Classico red sauce on them.
My how nice that meal was.....so....... I spent most of my morning making fresh pasta, then mixed up a ground pork mixture with red pepper flakes, dill weed, s & p, the No Salt, sugar or MSG Cool Running Seasoning, fresh garlic and onions shredded on one of those neato Microplane graters. I cooked the mixture first, then filled all the wee ravioli pockets!!
They are individually freezing atm. I'll have to bag 'em and tag 'em soon. I saved a few of them that were very oddly shaped and seemed they might open when boiled. I'll do a dry run boiling those ones up, sauce them and see if this crafts with food morning was worth it.
Have a wonderful day all!!

Thank you, @flemeth , I have no idea what that is, but thanks!
@walkonby , those little ones that didn't pass your rigorous inspection must be cooked, sauced and sampled for quality control purposes. Seriously.
Nothing much went on today, chiro tomorrow...life in the fast lane!!
Sweet dreams, everyone!
