Morning chuckles are good for whatever ails me at the start of my day. ty Jays.
I'm off and running today! Mentally running, what in reality is shuffling, but it all counts as movement.
Metro has a butter sale ( not as great as the PC Optimum offer on Sat. @ SDM ) but between the 2 places I can fill back my supply a bit. Down to our last 2 lbs, 1 unsalted and 1 salted.

Leafs blew their exciting lead and lost horribly last night, so Marner finally scoring his first power play goal was for nothing.
Forced myself to go to bed like a normal person ( sometime before midnight ). Trying to steer away from the owl like hours DH and DS keep. I felt exceptionally good upon waking so perhaps there is something to that "early to bed " quote.
We are on the down-slide of the week! Happy Thirsty Thursday peeps!

Good day fellow thread dwellers and others! I too am thankful that it’s Friday!!! It has been a long cold winter this week, especially last Monday!! The only good that came out of that storm was that neighbours with snow blowers helped the rest of us out.So that one could walk from one end of the block to the other on a clear sidewalk.
If the snow wasn’t bad enough the windchill was!!! It stopped me in my tracks for my daily walk. Yet I had enough pain today,that I forced myself out for a walk and rewarded myself with a Timmies.
Speaking of windchill I see Montreal is going to get -40!!!! So I will hopefully feel balmy here!
I hope everyone is able to take advantage of the weekend just for some self care. Grab some hot chocolate and enjoy!

Got my signals crossed tonight and sat down expecting to see a Leaf game.....sigh, it was the Raptors I saw in the guide.
Well THEY won at least.

Bets laid plans here, I wanted to adopt a normal-er bedtime, but falling asleep in the recliner for 2 hours has now squashed that idea. With the weekend here I may still be able to salvage this as the guys are off work for 2 days.
So sad in the last day or so to see Meatloaf has passed at 74 yrs. ( covid complications ) along with Louis Anderson at 68 yrs. The music and comedy world mourn again.

Time to play some backgammon, perhaps it'll make me drowsy?

Was up super early . So decided to do some baking Bread, Peanut butter cookies and for the first time making a chocolate chip Blonde.

Leafs beat the NYI!! Hooray!
Portuguese soup simmering on the stove for the guys. They can live off that this weekend, while I do my own separate meal/menu planning for the next few days.
