An exciting weekend of teams battling for a place in the Superbowl; Brady is out so that's great, mahomes still in, not so great. We'll roll from the Superbowl right into the Olympics so the days will go quickly until spring.

I'm working on a project for our kids' friends' son...he has an unusual name (for these days), not likely to be found on any chatchki in stores. His Mom just loved his nametag I put on his Christmas gift, so I thought I'd make a cricut picture with his name that they could frame...a red maple leaf behind 3 hockey player silhouettes in blue and his name in a space across them in blue under deep yellow. His favourite team is the Oilers, so I chose colours close to that team. Lots of little pieces make up parts of the players so patience will be required as I try to steady my hand that's decided to shake lately.

I'll just stay here inside, very still until it passes or melts.
Had a productive morning so far ( in the kitchen....where else? )
Using cauliflower I riced I made up 2 new things for my eating plan.
Chicken Pot Pie and Pizza! Yeah, both crusts are made with the riced cauliflower so no need to get too excited.

For someone who NEVER watched football ( I used to think they were all Neanderthals ) I watched ALL the games ( off and on ) over the weekend but the one that got my blood pumping the most was the last 13 seconds of the KC Chiefs vs the Bills.
Ya know....if ONLY the QB ( Allen? ) for the Bills had won that coin toss in O.T. I am sure he would have scored a TD first! Instead Mahomes made it happen and was victorious for the Chiefs.

A Shrinkflation warning coming up...

It looks like Post will be shrinking some of their cereals... I noticed the other day at work, that new boxes of Shreddies came in, the same ones (Plain and Honey), that were 440g... Right now they are 550g, so a fairly big shrink to the boxes...

I've noticed a good many packages doing the 15-20% reduction in size.

Greetings from Frankie Feathers Mom. No comical updates to share about him, unless you find his most recent antics amusing where he rips pieces of his paper towel floor and places them in his water dish?? Or when he picks up the small pieces of mango and strawberries off the mini dish and hurls them across the cage??
I laugh every time, as all God's creatures hold my heart hostage. Sigh.

Nothing new outside or maybe there is but I've not been a witness to it. Staying inside does that.
I feel for you @flemeth missing out on your walks and that crisp fresh air.

Hello, everyone!

I came on here last Eve, wrote out a lovely long post, and it disappeared into the clouds instead of posting... I literally cried, and did not have the strength to try again.
Most stuff is the same as always for me, I won't go into my litany of woes!
Husband is not doing well. Son is wonderfully amazing!

We have had yo-yo weather, rather irritating to go from -40 to just below zero over and over - I think this is the fourth time. Waiting for the long Russian winter to be over!
Speaking of E. Europe, very distressed about the goings on there...
Nothing newsy, bummer that.
