Good morning to the other early birds on this Monday. So very quiet in here, not even a peep out of Frankie atm. Cats are sleeping, something is off? I'll go make noise in the kitchen trying to get my breakfast ready, that'll wake the cats up for sure!

However, I have found lately, some may even think oddly enough, that I am doing more and more of my shopping at Costco of all places... I'm finding with inflation being the way it is, that more items are just better value at Costco versus ANYTHING I could do to save money at RCSS...

Hmm, I have compared produce prices between Costco and RCSS/Walmart and was surprised to find RCSS had the better prices. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to re-check and update my frame of references, just to be certain.

Good morning and why in the heck did I get up at 5 a.m. today? Today it was because I had a dream about a recipe. Weird as that sounds, I managed to create stuffed peppers without rice.
I used ground turkey, herbs, spices bit of sauce, then added a full bag of Konjac rice. You cannot even tell it isn't rice in the mixture.
I spread more grated Mozzarella onto these than I normally would because of the low impact ( calorie and carb wise ) the Konjac is.
It's like having a " free " rice in there.
They turned out delicous. Now I need a nap.

Agree with that @GoJays , getting 8 glasses+ of water a day is tough somedays ; now if it was wine, noooo problem!

@walkonby , (lol, my tablet knows your name on here! I didn't hit the @ key, and it auto-corrected!) ...where did you find the konjac? There are so many brands out there...I may ask Hubby to try Bulk Barn this time.

Not much going on, we did get more snow, it's up to our deers' tummies now. Poopy. And 80 days until our campgrounds open, which is such fun, raking grass, clearing out planting beds, hosing off and washing down all our Rvs but mostly seeing each other again! I can't wait! With those gas prices now, should they remain so high, we'll be doing less back and forth driving. Now I just have to figure out if I can connect my Cricut to my tablet. I'm not hopeful, but omgosh, if I can I could stay at camp all summer! Lol!

@Lynn49 I bought my konjac at healthy Planet in Scarborough....this was pre pandemic so the expiry date on the bag was borderline....lol.
