    Good morning, everyone!
    @flemeth , when I sent that recipe to Walks I might have mentioned that we also served it with ice-cream…I feel that the caramel sauce woukd be overkill, lol…it’s so sweet already, but…it is a dessert, right?
    So happy you tried it, too….look through that site for other recipes…honestly, the way Barry explains things (which I generally don’t read) likely helps new cooks and bakers but I’ve never had a failure with any of them! One day I’ll attempt his strawberry “flakies”!

    Good morning. Wow it's nice and sunny out there but had to bite the bullet and turn the heat on this morning.

    It feels like a soup day so I'm going to try to make a potato soup that turned out really well last June. Fingers crossed it turns out the same.

    Wonky day in these parts, one of those going through two seasons in one day which supposedly is going to be three seasons in one week by the end of the week. Don’t know where the whole day went but if I start to think long enough,I will either figure it out or go to sleep in the process!

    oh well....the Astros just couldn't do it this year. I'm sad BUT still admire Jose Altuve!!! The Diamondbacks forced a Game 7 ( to be played on Tuesday against Philly! ) What a ride this years World Series Final will be.
