Good morning, everyone!!!

Gosh, thank you all for your concern about my stinging whateveritwas. I spent most of the night scratching my hand so much I thought I'd find marks all over it, but nope, just the pain and swelling...the top of my hand looks "poofier" than the other one. Good thing we have a doc's appt this afternoon; maybe he'll know what stung me, although I'm pretty sure, having seen that wee stinger, that it was a bee. Poor critter gave its life, thinking I'd intentionally hurt it.

So what's on everyone else's agenda today?? How'd y'all sleep? I had to re-write a math exam in a dream last night...good heavens, what a complicated venue and set of problems! Just a tad tired this morning.
@Newfiescreech , I'll try again with a Canadian penny......but right now I've got Gold Bond cream on it to hopefully soothe the itching....Thanks, Hon...there's always some truths to those "old wives' tales", that's for sure!

My stepson was IN Las Vegas this past weekend and went to a different outdoor concert on Saturday night. He is safe at home in Florida this morning. Chilling to think that families all across US and Canada are grieving relatives who were at this concert last night. Prayers to all who are grieving, hurting, needing help this and every day!

I am at the car dealership getting the car dealt with before my trip to visit Hicks and to perform a wedding this next weekend.
@Lynn49 - I hope you are without pain today. When your system is already aggrevated or sensitized - as yours is, then any intrusion is magnified. Sending you healing thoughts today.

Lots to be done today - many calls to get info about things - cleaning help is at home getting our home "spiffied" up.

BrotherR's new laptop is not working at all - VERY annoying when he paid to get it set up by the Geek Squad to avoid this type of aggrevation! This means another unscheduled trip to get it fixed!!!

This a.m. I was out quite early and after an errand I found myself scavenging through the remaining pots of Mums at No Frills
( just $4.00 now ) they are a great size, and bold lovely colours.
Couldn't resist, brought home 4 of them, 2 red, 2 yellow.

Hey @Lynn49 that " whatever it was " that stung you was probably yes....a rejected poor drone ( bee ) that is shunned from the hive ( they all are booted out at this time of year, they are homeless....so sad ain't it? ) Hope there is some relief from that stinger bite today.
I missed all the news about that dreadful shooting in Las Vegas until around 11:30 a.m.
Once I put on CNN and they showed the actual live footage someone had recorded...oh my, that was tough to watch.
The shooter is dead, but not that many answers yet as to his motive.

Good afternoon everyone. Paid for my blender using paypal at 1am before I went to bed. It's from a company that sells on ebay and they say open 9am to 5pm mon to fri. At 9.18am I get an email from ebay, item shipped lol. 11am I checked tracking and says Shipment received at originating postal facility. People weren't kidding that these guys ship fast lol.

Quick note....our Dr is sending me for a couple more tests...ultrasound on my tummy (I've been having on and off again pain), and a {{{gulp}}} colonoscopy. Probably around Christmas with my luck..haha! He's sending me to a specialist because of how painful it was for me last time....so we'll see, no appointment yet.

As for that bug bite, yep, a bee, and I seem to have an allergy to them, so you're right, @22hicks . But he didn't prescribe an epipen because it wasn't serious (yet...lol), and besides, if it ever happens at camp, where it's more likely to happen, I'll just run for our Grandson's epipen! hah!

So that's all that's fit to print at the moment!!
@cabmonk , I hope that blender is exactly what you wanted! And yes, talk about fast shipping, I ordered a gorgeous $99 throw for our DD from Indigo, on sale for $40, and it came in 3 days, free shipping, too! I also ordered a couple of items for our GS for the advent parcels I make up for him every Christmas...24 days of presents....yep, adds up!! But boy, does he ever enjoy the little surprises in them and heaven help me if there isn't a real metal slinky in one of them!! Which, btw, are getting harder to find!!
