Good morning!!!

Well, little Jennifur has learned a new 'trick'. Two nights ago she stood at the top of the 4 stairs that lead to the bedroom area and whiimpered. The most pathetic little whimpers you can imagine, and did a little tap-dance at the top, but wouldn't go down the stairs no matter how many times I called her from the livingroom. This went on for a while, then it occured to me that maybe she had hurt a paw or something, so I went to the stairs and picked her up anb placed her on the floor and without so much as a 'thank-you', off she went. LAST night, same thing. I asked my DH what he thought might be the matter, and he just smiled and said, "Watch this." He went to the fridge and got a pepperoni for himself, took a bite as he left the kitchen and sat down in his chair, just as missy came bounding down the stairs to sit directly in front of him for her share of that treat!!! Can you imagine?! Could she be spoiled??? Her little act of "pick me up Mom" from the top of the stairs is a little act!! Well. That's not going to work anymore and there won't be any more pepperoni tricks to bring her down those stairs. Naturally last night she was rewarded with a piece of that obviously delectable treat. Oh, good grief. We may have created a monster! Huh. She can tap-dance all she wants to tonight, I will not rescue her. But she's so pathetic and sweet!!!!

Well, everyone, the GOOD NEWS is, SPRING is coming!!! My asthma has kicked in once again! hahaha!! Yep, every February like clock-work or, as our doctor said, "That's when all you people come in to see me.", when I suggested that mid-winter isn't spring! I imagine this warm weather may be tricking the trees to send off whatever vile stuff they send off for those of us who are seasonally challenged. So off DH went to pick up my puffers. It's fine, we do this twice a year for a while, no big worries, but it IS a sign of spring!!!!

Hello folks! Quick question that probably only @22hicks can answer. When she used to wear the parrot to Blue Jays games, how did she attach it? My step-son is going to the All-Star Game and it is also "Gasparilla "- a celebration where pirates take over the city -complete with floats and cannons and parades. Why those pirates have run off with the trophies, for gosh sakes! He wants to know how to attach a parrot to his t-shirt without putting a hole in the t-shirt. I told him SC could probably come to his rescue!

Funny thing, I'm 100% sure both of these are the exact same chair. The one from wayfair is on sale for $256 and is from zipcode designs. The other is walmart and says lifestyle solutions and is $227.

@avoncallingu ...wasn't that Walks, when she and her hubby went to a Tampa game vs the Jays? Or not??

DH and I watched the skills hockey contest and all the pirate costumes people were wearing; he had to look up the reason for it all. Anyway, I think it depends on what configures the bottom of the bird: if spindly legs are involved and can be bent, they can be adequately pinned onto his outfit across the legs and into the tush in several places. Hth!

Good day! Well, we are back in the deepfreeze...
Last evening, I was getting cold and had to put a sweater on, very unusual for me. I had turned up the thermostat and told my husband mid-evening that the heat hadn't kicked in. He went and checked the furnace, the pilot light was out. Darned good thing I noticed when I did, otherwise we would have frozen overnight with no heat...
