Thank you, @Natalka, @cabmonk,,off to catch the curling, I'd been "napping", not really sleeping but resting. Seems all I can do lately, although I did empty the dishwasher today. Yay, me!
@Natalka, I'm not sure how one mourns the loss of what has been, a previous life lost; I've heard that before, when dealing with a traumatic injury or illness that incapacitates to some extent, but I'm not sure there's a 12-step program for that. :/ I'm just thankful that I wake up every morning no matter what shape I happen to be in, the aches and pains of....ahem...older age comes and goes, but there's worse out there, and I just thank God I'm in the shape I'm in, able to visit with our family, watch our GS grow up. I'm thankful for all those "good ol' days" when my body responded enthusiastically to every request I made of it, but....that's then and this is now.

Still thankful after all these years....

what a surprise Valentine's Day it turned out to be after all!!
Not only did the Leafs beat the Blue Jackets BUT my favourite player ( Nazem Kadri!! ) earned 5 points getting a hat trick and 2 assists!!
Then Petro Can emailed me a V-Day gift of 2,500 free Petro Points!!
See?? when your bar is set very low even the smallest things give you a lift!!

Drive in wad horrible this morning. Just because you can't see 20 feet in front of your vehicle, doesn't mean you shouldn't be checking your f***ing blind spots!

Woke up "in-a-fog" both in my head and outside. I woke up at 4:30 and then couldn't get back to sleep for a while. Arrg!

Only 34 days until "Spring" arrives. Hope someone tells Spring to get ready-we're throwing her a great welcome -so don't be late to the party!

My brotherR tells me that we turn the clocks ahead on March 4. So mornings will be darker again @Dang er Dan.

Thank you for all your get-well wishes, it seems it worked, as my congestion has all but disappeared to the extent that I may just take myself to Fabricland across town today! My first "by myself" outing since Avon's visit here!
@walkonby , loved your "keeping the bar low" comment...the secret to true happiness, right? hahaha!!! We're thankful for anything positive that comes our way.

So....off to a nice drive, +2 today, DH walked to his pool hall, so nothing to do but whatever I want to do!

I'll catch up with y'all later, but for now...I'm OFF before I change my mind! It's so easy to become too comfortable at home..
