@cabmonk !! It looks like your Walmart is closing down! You weren't kidding when you said the shelves were bare.

@cabmonk , WOW!! I agree with @GoJays , it does seem like it's closing! However, if that's the norm, I'd certainly send those photos to head office and ask them if that's what they intend that store to look like!!
I just did a quick check, and it doesn't seem as if it's closing...although in 2017 their manager helped himself to 75K!

Absolutely send them off or embarass them on their twitter feed!

We're back from our doctor and so far all the test results he has were just fine!! Nothing on my holter monitor yet, but if there's anything yucky he'll call me. Now I have a pulmonary check-up, but at least that's not invasive or painful!
Turning 70 this fall, I'm in top form!
Okay...my "form" may be a little floofy, but I'm SO relieved!!
I shall have wine tonight when we watch Midsomer Murders!

It doesn’t always look like that but far too often. I hear it’s because of no staff especially overnight. It’s weird because every single item I search on Walmart’s site it says sorry not in store. Yet every single item I have searched on Canadian tires site there have been some in store here. For groceries lately I usually go to food basics, no frills and metro.

Oh yeah and there is a new manager that seems to be running things poorly.

That's too bad @cabmonk . At least down here, we have many more options. I have more than ten Walmarts no more than half an hour to 45 min away. It's a little trickier for you way the hell in the middle of nowhere Seriously though, a complaint must be made otherwise nothing will change.

Oh, sh;/t, @Lynn49 ! That's a major bummer! Is that from your fall on your DD's stairs? That's very painful, as you well know!!!

I spent time this afternoon with my colleague -friends from when I worked at the Enrichment Department. What a fine bunch of people! A jolly time! The weather was lovely today also. Double bonus! And this morning, I got my laptop and my printer connected-thanks to a call to Rogers. I'm delighted! I can now work on upcoming weddings and get a couple of income tax things printed.

Oh joy!

I do have a headache, but I have taken some meds and things should be fine.

All is set and wrapped for my BrotherB and his wife's birthday party on Saturday.

I found a little set of plastic suction cups that I need for my new-to-me coffee table. That should make it A-OK!

They finished off paving our road today so I don't take Too tie down there as it is all asphalt bits for now along the Boulevard which she likes to "use."

Well, my supper is at 6:30 today. Will check in later.
