I'll plop in my own 2 cents here.
For myself I only buy and eat the brands that make theirs with peanuts only, with nothing else added.
The only down side is the initial opening and having to stir/blend the oil into it as it has usually separated, and then it must be refrigerated, but it stays perfect after that first stirring.
PC Blue menu had a decent sale on theirs a while back, so I am stocked up.
The kids here eat that teddy bear stuff......the odd time I've tasted a bit on a spoon and right away I'm reminded of why I don't care for it. Its just me but the extra sugar, salt, etc that is added to it ruins the real taste of PB.
so @cabmonk ...I also have that Yonanas machine and it does work o.k. for what it is, but that photo you posted of your Ninja blender makes me quite jelly!! ( Not PB and jelly....lol )
I stocked up on the NF $1.00 PB for the gang here, what a deal huh?? I just strolled by the display by accident and had to do a double take at that sale price!

@walkonby Oh I hear ya on wanting to buy more natural peanut butter. I'm on a very tight budget and almost didn't buy any peanut butter. As for the blender it has been good so far and I have made other things too. smoothies, salsa, hummus and others. At Walmart it's $140 plus tax for the same thing I paid a total of $70 new on ebay.

Good Morning folks! My body has not yet caught on to the idea that Daylight Savings Time has started. ( Neither has Tootie's)
I have to 're-arrange the stuff in my bedroom so that I can accommodate some furniture which we bought through kijiji for my BrotherR' s new apartment. It is so heavy that I can't get it out of my car. A friend is coming over this afternoon to
help me get it in here somewhere. A cramped space has become a rabbit Warren as he packs boxes.
Had to cancel a specialist appointment for me yesterday as a specialist appointment for BrotherR came available through a cancellation.
So, Friday is hear- March Break is drawing to a close and "Spring Equinox" arrives next week. That means that we are REALLY "March-ing" towards summer!
I am in need of some peanut Butter and so I had better join the PB quest!
I think that I had 2 teams poop out on my brackets. I picked the wrong "upset" teams .
BFN, folks! Have a great day!Last edited by avoncallingu; Fri, Mar 16th, 2018 at 10:36 AM.

OH, @walkonby , for the love of cuteness!!!! It just shows you, no matter the critter, bat or elephant, they all need AND know what love is!!! Damn the people who kill them!!!
As to real PB, yes, I do enjoy that, too, esp the crunchy one for some reason...I've kept the jar overturned in the fridge and it was easier for some reason for it to keep mixed up.
Or perhaps, as you say, after one good mixing, it just stayed that way.
@avoncallingu , I picked an upset too: Davidson, but by gosh they gave them a run for the money!! It almost worked!
Well, I had a good ol' chat with our optometrist this morning wrt eye surgery vs botox injections (in my eye only, unfortunately), and I'm more confused than ever. The consensus seems to be to try the botox, determine whether it works and when I'll need another one. I will have to continue with them. Less invasive than surgery, if it works.
He suggested a Dr Leung in Oakville so I'll check her out on ratemds.com and find out what her rating is and what petients have to say about her. She does both the botox and eye surgery.
Other than that, nothing much going on...the kids are coming over tomorrow for a St Paddy's dinner, a big pot of roasted Guinnes beef stew and homemade bread. Oh. I forgot about a dessert....something simple, we'll have her b'day dinner on Friday and that'll be a full-on calorie-laden dinner. Oh...I know...nice crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside oatmeal raisin cookies so that our GS can take the rest home! Hah!!
Hope everyone' having a great day!! It's sunny and gorgous here, a little chilly, but it was so nice seeing the city and how little snow we have out there!

Used a $4.00 off Jane's chicken coupon that I got from my aunt. So today I bought 1 pack of Jane's chicken burgers for .97 cents and a bit of carrots and potatoes. The Jane's chicken had another $4.00 off coupon on it. I don't have the coupons that some do around here or that I used to have lol. Anyway I'm still following the diet I've been on besides that for a couple more weeks.

I'm at the top of my brackets (with about 4 other people )- I haven't watched a game.
Got some info from a CPA in Florida today. Have to hunt up my DH's 2014 US income tax info. Oiy!
Did a major tidy-up today. Can actually see the area rug in my bedroom!
I sent my step-grandson a birthday card and he got it on time -but for the second time, I got his AGE WRONG! They got a laugh out of it. Last time I over-estimated it and this time I under-estimated it.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!Last edited by avoncallingu; Sat, Mar 17th, 2018 at 12:07 AM.
