Good morning all. Hope your weekend was great. It’s still raining out there .If you have to go out drive safely was hoping for school to cancel so I dont have to go out but go figure only buses. I will be walking in the rain on the 4inches of ice that we have. Have a great day all

Now that was a night! Freezing rain, wind, rain.

Fortunately no issues here and power was fine. Neighbour a couple of doors over lost the top of their tree.

Managed to connect with hydro via Twitter DM to report it as the main branch was resting horizontally on the wires. But no further issue.

Crew showed up around 23h00 and cut the hazardous branches down and moved on to the next issue.

Will be interesting to see how long before a crew can come to clean up.

Neighbours fronts are totally littered with debris and branches. I know they will not be happyabout it. House which had the tree has a clean front yard. All the way things fall I guess.

Cancelled all appointments for today and am staying in.

Good morning everyone!
It's pretty soggy here but at least the worst is over.

Been snowing here and then ice pellets now freezing rain. They expect more snow and another 5cm of ice pellets before changing to more snow overnight but will taper off. Hope it's better Tuesday to walk on the sidewalks but today not so much lol. I have to bring forms in to an office about a 15 minute walk which is close but not when it's a sheet of ice. Hope everyone has a good day.

15 minutes could be longer today! Just went for my morning 5000 step walk and what should have taken 45 minutes round trip was more like 1.5 hours all in all ... good workout though

Oh, heck, no, @GoJays ...just something I pulled out of the air...an educated guess, as it were....but I must also say, I could NOT agree with you more that this April weather is the absolute worst, abominable, hateful, loathesome weather there could possibly BE this time of year!!
I hate winter generally...a deep-seated hatred of every single flake that falls. This is far beyond unbearable!!!

Had to take the day off work yesterday.
Flooding issues in the basement and underneath the deck outside...not a good day...took 12 hours to fix...
So tired...
