phooey to me! I forgot all about Sample Source again! Lucky for me it crashed though because I was able to get 6 samples just past noon! That would never have happened before, they would have been down to maybe 2 or all gone? ha ha

I hemmed and hawed about doing the Loblaws Flash turkey sale going on today and tomorrow only. Getting 15,000 points sounds so great ( = to $15.00 off ) but I was not sure of the price per pound BEFORE the points? Turned out to be just o.k. I guess.
Got an 11 kg ( woo hoo 24 lb ) bird for $1.20 a lb ( after subtracting the $15.00 of course )
All of the 9-11 kg birds were marked at the same price so I made sure they found me an 11 kg one....tee hee.

I have found the going rate at many stores is about $1.20 lb for turkeys, so shame on Loblaws for trying make some consumers think this is some huge deal.....it is just o.k.

Shall I mention the rain today? blecht! On the plus side the vehicle looks all clean and washed. Did anyone hear the boos that Osuna got last night?? he is due in court today, wonder how that will all play out for him?

I didn't watch the whole game @walkonby , so I missed the boos. I did, however, see the nice reception he got from his old teammates. I laughed at the half-assed hug he gave to Atkins though. I don't know how you feel about it but I think people are prosecuted far too often before there's even a trial these days.

yeah, I also need to understand ( I need to Google! ) what a Peace Bond is? If Osuna is pleading NOT guilty today ( which they said he was going to ) and there was talk of a Peace Bond. I at least want to know exactly what he did to his baby Mama!
He seems too young to be juggling an MLB career along with a new baby and wife, ( I wonder if they have any moral support from their respective families? ) and just a short while ago he admitted he has been suffering from anxiety.

A peace bond is a protection order made by a court under section 810 of theCriminal Code. It is used where an individual (the defendant) appears likely to commit a criminal offence, but there are no reasonable grounds to believe that an offence has actually been committed.

In these situations, a person can obtain a peace bond against the defendant from the Court. The Court may impose specific conditions that are designed to prevent the defendant from committing harm to the person, their spouse or common-law partner, their child, or from committing damage their property.
