I posted this on a group I belong to on FB about thrift stores, etc...wow...over 200 responses and still going strong; I think dolls are scary to a lot of people (me), as are clowns (also me).

Wet 'n wild was today's forecast, otherwise known as an indoor day for me.
Perfect excuse to catch up on more novel reading. It was either that or do housework, so not even a contest.
I am wondering if it is supposed to rain all week.... Who can know....I'd have to get up off my recliner to check on that.

Family's okay...but generally people want to talk and I don't like small talk. I used to...I was very good at it...but it's so tiresome now. I've 'bout said all I want to on most subjects.

Popping in to say
before I go try have a nap. I was up most of the night with an upset tummy. Yeah, like I needed this! Irony is that our son didn't come Sunday to visit because he had it and didn't want to pass anything to me. Geez!
Nurse came mid-morning to see me. She said the wound looks okay, and my heart/lung checks were good. Lost almost five pounds the last ten days. Not the way I would choose to lose weight! Everything is either yuck or meh...

Election stuff almost all over except going to help them pick up signs. Didn’t sleep well last night but still made it to spin class today. The candidate I was volunteering for didn’t win but we all kinda realized it was a long shot here. Nice after party last night.

LOL. Good lounging, everyone. I have a work day ahead. What ever happened to the idea of retirement? I don't even mean the reality of retirement...I just mean the prospect of it being possible. I am fortunate in really liking what I do...otherwise, the girlish blush would be knocked right off my cheek.

Good morn, Happy Wednesday!
Lots of pain with my leg, last evening, through the night, and now. All I can do is keep on with pain meds.
Gee, tried a pear for brekkie and it tasted horrible - by my odd taste - so I am going to have to find something else I can handle. Coffee tastes gross, too...
We have a new great-nephew in Croatia named Jacov, so Jacob to us. He is the cutest little peanut!

@Natalka that cats not really sure what to think lol.
anyway my day is ok so far. Went to the food bank and later will be weights at the gym. I finally have my first appointment at the Canadian mental health since being referred there in May. I hope everyone has a good day today.
