    Another night by the fire with friends on our street...oour SIL's relatives from TampaBay are leaving today but not before I got to try on 2 Stanley Cup Rings!! They're enormous! So many diamonds! I called, "Taxi!" when I had them on but unfortunately none showed up. So I had to give them back, lol! I was thinking of my Dad and what that would have meant to him. Anyway, adorable couple, they had a great time on the island and want to come back next year.

    I hope today is a day of rest!

    A really really happy good morning to all. I am so pumped up atm. Went out to dump some recycles, thought I'd peer up into our apple tree and and say good morning to our most recent guest ( morning dove ) , who was been sitting motionless in this nest for so long. I go out daily to see her, and no matter how much I coo at her she always gves me the same blank stare.
    She just never seems to leave the nest.

    DH thought her sitting on eggs up there was unlikely ( I forget the reason he gave me ) but he thought perhaps she was a young-ish bird that just never flew out of the nest and maybe her parents come by and still bring her food.
    That seemed weird...and then today I was so lucky to snap a pic of her with her 2 new babies!!

    Who knows if there are more babies in the back, I could only see these 2 smaller heads. Tbh, not a very pretty breed of bird imo, but even Frankie Feathers made the best of his lot by having a personality.
    Her constant resting biotch bird face doesn't help matters and she has passed the look down to her wee ones.

    Oh who am I kidding? I love, love, love that they are here!
