Tonight, pork chops done in the slow cooker. Got a recipe from Crockin' Girls on Facebook, called for cranberry sauce and onion soup mix. I only had the jellied rather than whole berry sauce, but it was really good, might even try it with chicken next time.

I had steamed a head of cabbage for cabbage rolls, so I had this lovely pot of flavoured water, so I made a soup for supper - bits of cabbage, potatoes, barley, onions, and sausage. My son made biscuits to go with it, and it was yummers!

We had spaghetti too but, alas, not with homemade sauce - just Hunt's Thick and Rich, but with some killer meatballs I made!

I totally didn't make this!! But OMG, was it ever good.

Peking duck: Roasted duck, sliced thin, served on a slightly sweet flour wrap with hoisin sauce and green onions.

Since the wrap was really just to showcase the crispy skin, the rest of the duck is made into a sweet and salty lettuce wrap filling. I could eat a million of these!

Today was homemade veg. soup, some sort of roast pork ...don't ask me more, it just came out of my freezer and i virtually threw it in the oven,
Anyway, also had mash, cauli, peas and GRAVY!!
Yum - well to all the veggie stuff, lol. I made some tofu thing for me.

But the best part was the homemade yogurt i made...IN THE CROCKPOT....it was deliscious, that recipe is a keeper

My mom does this basically with chicken...except she adds French dressing to the cranberry sauce and onion soup mix. I must admit it sounds gross but it is actually great and also a good sauce for over rice.
